So far, this seat is working out just fine. It's not real cushiony, so if you plan to take a lot of long trips with your child or have a long commute with him/her along, I would recommend seeking something with a little more cushion for comfort. For tootling to the store and back, or taking the kids to school, it's great. It's attractive, the buckles and clips are pretty easy. I especially liked the price. I bought this for one of my daycare toddlers who comes with us when we take my twins to school.

I bought this for my Grandson and my daughter tells me that she really likes it! I didn't think I'd be ordering another car seat through Amazon after my first experience with the infant car seat that I bought for my then newborn Grandson. This was by a different seller altogether. The Combi Tyro 2 Infant car seat by Omni was horrible and fell apart within a month. Omni refused to send her a new car seat and my warranty had run out with Amazon because I purchased this seat a month before he was born. Evenflo is a superior company with great products they stand behind (so far) Omni should be run out of business!!!

Our son seems very comfortable in this car seat. The buckles don't hurt him. I think it will last him quite awhile, and hopefully will be re-used for future children. I rated it four stars instead of five because latching it in and out of the car is a bit difficult. Hopefully, we won't have to take it in and out of our car too often.

I love this car seat for the price. I feel that my 11 month old is very safe in it and seems to be comfortable. There are nicer seats out there (and priced accordingly) but this is a great first or extra seat. I actually own two- one for my car and one for the sitters. I decided that, at the price, I would just leave one there rather than take mine in and out when she had trips planned. It does have the EPS foam liner which some of the "value" car seats don't. It is easy to install thanks to the LATCH system. And it looks good. Great buy!

I got this seat for my 6month baby girl. She just got way to big for her baby seat. This is my 3rd child and this carseat is the best we have owned. Price was great also. It is soft and even looks nice.

We like this seat, but our son (2) complains that it hurts his bottom. It seems to me that the buckle between his legs is awfully close and probably gets uncomfortable. We bought this seat hoping to use it for a year or more, but I think our son will out grow it pretty quick.

Easy and safe

I was hesitant to buy this because I am not fond of the print, but it got such great reviews that it seemed like the best option. I also wanted a seat that would keep my son rear-facing longer before switching him to forward-facing.
br /I was not previously familiar with the LATCH system, so it took me awhile to install the first seat (about 45 minutes). The second seat took about two minutes because I knew what I was doing.
br /It seems comfortable for my 13-month-old son. He is not fond of car seats in general, but he seems to struggle less in this one than he did in the last one. I appreciate the accessible buckle for adjusting the straps (the one between the legs). I will need to move the shoulder straps up to the next level soon and I just hope that I don't have to un-LATCH the seat to do that.
br /Overall a good option. Easy to install if you are familiar with LATCH, comfortable and strudy.

We got this car seat for our 2nd car. My husband picks our son up 1-2 times a week only and this seat is a great for that. It's not very padded so I wouldn't recommended using it for long trips, but it's easy to install and use!

We bought this carseat for our son when he grew out of his infant carseat, yet still had to be rear facing. We liked it so much that we got a second one for my husband's jeep. It fits nicely into the jeep. I have a Corolla and it fits great in that as well. Great for small vehicles! It is very easy to use. You can't beat the price either. This carseat is well worth the money!! We would buy it again!

i bought this car seat because my sister's family was visiting and they wanted to leave their car seat at home. renting a car seat for that time was about $50 so it was a bit more but without the hassle of renting.
br /i'm saying this because we only used the seat for about 10 days but it worked out perfectly for our needs. my nephew is 19 months old about 25lbs (tall and skinny). he was completely comfortable (didn't fuss) and was able to sleep comfortably in the seat. i don't have kids so i confirmed with my sister and her husband and they agreed that this seat was perfectly acceptable.

We bought this car seat as one to travel with. It was perfect since it was much lighter than our regular carseat and our 11 month old was comfortable with the cross-country flights. It also didn't hurt that it came recommended from our Baby Bargain Book...

sturdy, easy to secure in car, easy to secure baby.
br /
br /I don't understand the negative reviews with folks unable to to secure the seat/ release the child. If you can clip and release a car seatbelt, you can secure this seat/ your child.
br /
br /Comfy enough- though thinly padded compared to the $200 seats.
br /
br /For the price- 5 stars.
br /Overall regardless of price- 4 stars.

br /This car seat is great for a second car, but I would spend the extra money to get a better model for the car used most often. I have an 8 month old and he seems comfortable in it but his head really flops forward when he falls asleep in it. We got it for our second car and also my parents got it for their car. Overall, it is good enough for the money.

Nice, light, but doesn't work

Nice, light, but doesn't really work, Trust me on this one -- we really wanted to like it and struggled with it. The overall design, fabric and weight are good for us, esp. weight since we don't own a car and drag this thing in and out of cabs. The big problem is it just doesn't fasten well -- the channel for stringing the seat belt is too narrow and has lots of plastic edges around it, so the seat belt buckle always sticks somewhere on the way in or the way out. Top clip that hooks it on the top is poorly designed, and clips on well but to unclip you must turn and neel on the seat every time and use both hands -- tough if you're also balancing a toddler and not fun in any case. And the all important strap that pull the shoulder and crotch harness tight has a cinch that just doesn't work. It not only sticks every time, it has a wide buckle on the backside of the seat that also sticks in a channel to narrow for it, and no matter how hard you pull on the cinch you simply cannot get it tight. I've ever tried two-handed with no baby and you just can't get it tight. Oh -- and did I ad they have 3 heavy metal clips they advise you to stow so they don't flip around, but the directions don't show you where and dumb me -- I can't seem to figure it out.
br /
br /A for effort, Evenflo, but C- for design and execution.

My girl loves it!

Bought this from Amazon to be used by my 20 mo. daughter, which didn't like to be sitted in a toddler seat, until now. She loves it and we say to her this is the "Princess" seat, though I think she now likes it because the other ones have a front guard (protector) that this one hasn't, so I think she feels free by not having this bar in front of her.
