After researching up and down and not willing to spend $300 on a safety seat, I settled on the Summit Booster. It looked very comfortable and reasonable in price. When I began to fit my daughter to it I realized how much I disliked this seat. First, it looks like it has lots of cusion but it is not padded well. Plus, the notch that was closest to her shoulders was still too high and even with the pads provided, cut into her neck. Let's talk about the base. I have a dodge magnum with slightly bucketed seats in the back. This seat has a HUGE base that just would not fit well in my car. Not to mention the tether strap was very strange to try and operate. Finally, for the price, I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the stitching for this seat. Right from the box, stitches were coming out on the headrest and around the frame. I did so much research and thought I found the right car seat for my daughter but was very disappointed in the end. I hope it works better for someone else!
