We have tried several booster seats and this is our favorite. It is much sturdier than the Britax Parkway and (according to my son) equally as comfortable. This is a great seat!!
Great Booster

When my husband got the carseat out of the box, he said it is an awesome booster for our son. We purchased a great evenflo carseat over a year ago (it was on sale) which was normally priced at around $75. Nice carseat, but this one is better.
br /
br /My son is short and his head fits well in the headrest area (even a taller kid it would fit as the headrest is rather long and wider than the Britax). He can see around the wings on the headrest and loves his big boy carseat. He says he is comfortable in it and the armrests fit him well.

The Recaro booster seat is the 3rd brand we purchase, and definately the best. We recommend this seat!
br /
br /First we purchased a Eddie Bauer booster seat. This seat had a very thin and fragile design with hardly any side protection or padding.
br /
br /Second, we purchased serveral Graco Turbo Booster seats. These seats are not bad, but are not as solid as the Recaro. We still use these seats in our second car.
br /
br /Third, we purchased the Recaro. These seats are much more solid than anything else we have seen. It also has very good side protection. Because of this, it is important that the kid is tall enough for the seat (as with all booster seats). You can adjust height of the back.
br /
br /We have also had problems with previous seats that the kids fall forward in the seat when they go to sleep. The angle of the Recaro seat's back can be adjusted, so the seat's back can tip back some. With this feature, the kids are more likely to sleep more comfortably.
br /
br /We were a little concerned before the purchase because of previos reviews saying it is hard to buckle the Recaro seat due to it's design. We have 3 carseats in a small car, and we don't experience it as harder to buckle this seat compared to the Graco seats.

When my 3.5-year old son falls asleep in his current seat (a convertible car seat), he has a hard time getting comfortable...his head falls forward and he wakes himself up. I had been looking for a booster seat that would give him something on which to rest his head AND provide good coverage around his head for safety. Most of the booster seats I found had little or no coverage around the head, so I was excited to find this seat, though I worried the head wings would stick out too far and bother him.
br /This seat is great, especially for the price! The padding is thick (in comparison to other booster seats in this price range; I even sat in it myself to try it out...Mom approved!), the seat is easy to assemble and install, and there is plenty of head room. The belt does sit pretty far forward across his lap, as other reviews have said (routes under the armrest, so it comes across his lap instead of coming across his tummy), but he doesn't seem to mind and he seems quite secure in it. The seat is VERY well-constructed. The adjustable headrest is nice (we are currently at the lowest setting, so there is lots of room to grow). This is the perfect seat for us.

Hands down, the best car seat I have owned yet! My kids love it, I love the way the don't fall over when they are sleeping, and I definitely love the side impact safety feature it offers. It's light in wieght and easy to clean. You get the style of RECARO and the savings your looking for all in one.

This seat is remarkable!!! Very well built and more sturdy than anything bought at a baby outlet. My 3 year old loves it, and so do I. Highly recommend it.
