We bought this for my mother to use so we wouldn't have to keep taking out our base to put in her car. It works great with our Eddie Bauer Euro Travel System with LATCH - Manchester Print.

I bought this base for our second car - and it is just as easy to install as the base that came with my Eddie Bauer travel system. LATCH is so incredibly easy to install and use, so it is safer for my son (no mistakes setting it up!)

My husband and I are going to both be picking up our daughter so this will really come in handy. It was a litte hard to figure out if it would work with our carseat, but after comparing it to the original base I figured out that it would work.
Be sure to switch as soon as it is time!

This carseat base served its' purpose for us for as long as it was going to. My Xitlali will be 6 months in a few weeks, and just recently we got her a new carseat. (Yes, I realize she was getting a little too big for her old one!) Up until the end, the car base worked just fine, until one day, I noticed the strap that is supposed to be attached to the actual "seat" in the car had come undone. Apparently it detached from the carseat base and we hadn't noticed. The only reason that I did notice was because as I tried lock her into the base, it just slid and wasn't stationary as it should be. I think that it works great if you use it only up to a certain weight, although the carseat says up to 22 lbs., and my little girl oly weighed 16 when it came undone. Other than that flaw, I think it is a great base!

I don't know how I would have dealt without having the extra bases. I have twin sons in day care. Most days my husband and I take turns dropping off/picking up the boys. It would be pain to have to strap them in every time or only have 1 person be the day care shuttle driver!. These bases save us a lot of time and stress. I would HIGHLY recommend getting extra bases.

With two working parents, it is essential to have two car seat bases. This makes it easy for my husband to drop our son off at day care and I can pick him up. I highly recommend two bases!

I agree with "michfind" (Oceanside, CA United States) 100%!! I also have the Eddie Bauer Travel System in Manchester print and this has worked wonderfully. I had a base in my vehicle and the extra base in my mom's car (she watches my daughter) and never had any problems what-so-ever. It was easy to get it in the vehicles nice and tight so you never worried if your kiddo was in properly or not. And it was much easier than having to fasten and unfasten the seat belt each time. This was such a lifesaver for me. My daughter has been in her convertible seat for a few months but I would recommend this base to everyone that has a new little one!! It's just so handy!!

This base makes it a lot easier to get your car seat in and out of the vehicle. No more strapping down the car seat every single time you travel. Now, just strap down the base and lock the car seat down. We have two of these bases, one for each vehicle.

This car seat base serves as a second car seat base for our little one. It sure makes life easier not having to remove the base along with the car seat. I couldn't find an additional car seat base at any store. I purchased a Safety 1st Travel System from Burlington Baby Depot. Finding this versatile car seat base was great. The seat works with Cosco, Safety 1st, Eddie Bauer, etc. I recommend to anyone with a two car family.

I bought this as an extra car base for my child's car seat. Since it is black it does not stick out as much when the baby is not in the car as the green one that came with the car seat.

We have a Safety 1st Designer series car seat, not sure of the model number but it is light blue and gray plaid with hippos by the head rest. I really like this base. It is so convenient to have one in each vehicle rather than having to constantly move it back and forth. I actually like this one better than the one that came with the car seat because the LATCH straps are longer. Well worth the money.

it doesn't fit out eddie bauer car seat we bought from sears. We did however receive prompt response on making a return.
