my son is now 3 years old and his car seat still looks like the day we bought it. he has spilled milk, smashed rasins, tried chewing on the straps you name it. this seat has been used abused washed repeatedly and it sill is in great shape. the straps, fabric and plastic have all with stood day in day out use. it is also very easy to take appart and put back together for washing. i am now looking for another cosco for his sister who just turned one .

I was given this as a shower gift for my recently adopted 2 year old girl. This booster seat is the easiest most convenient seat we have found. It is easy to install and easy to move from car to car. The safety belts are easy to adjust, alot of padding for her little behind, and my 2 year old has plenty of room to move her arms and legs. She is approx 26 pounds and there is plenty of room for her to grow and still have use for this same seat. We have another car seat (brand name to remain annonymous) in my husband's car which is a total nightmare with twisting straps, etc. Ugh!

I bought this carseat for my nephew who is 4 and it is great! Very easy to install in the car using the LATCH system. The straps don't get all twisted like some other carseats. He really likes the armrests. The only thing I would change is to make the arm rests adjustable.

I'm giving it 4 stars only because the tether that goes over the top of the seat to hook behind the seat is a little confusing... and the padding in the head area is a bit much. My daughter sits with her head forward. So I raised the padding, still too much for her, so I took some of the padding out! Now it's fine.

Love the style of this car seat. My 2 1/2 year old loves it too. As the previous reviewer mentioned, tightening the latch system is not easy. You must put your weight in the seat and then pull as hard as you can on the strap. Difficult to accomplish, but once it's tightened, that seat isn't going anywhere. Much better than securing it with a seatbelt. Until they build the perfect car seat...this one will do.

You could not get the seat in tight enough using the tether/anchor system. We tried everything, but it wouldn't work, so we returned it and bought a different one, which we had no problems at all with.

Do not buy Cosco Brand products. Their customer service lacks. The chest harness broke on our car seat over 6 weeks ago and they have yet to replace it even though their web site says receive within 7-10 business days. We are out a car seat and have to go buy another.
