We bought this booster for our daughter when she first learned to sit up, and we are still using it 2 years later.
br /
br /Pros:
br /-straps retract, so they aren't dangling when you take it somewhere.
br /-everything on it wipes clean easily.
br /-folds compactly for portability.
br /-has attachable tray.
br /-compartment in back for storing a bib.
br /-durable (ours only has a couple of superficial scratchs after 2 years of abuse).
br /-very affordable.
br /
br /Cons:
br /-the tray doesn't adjust, so its unusable now that our daughter's tummy sticks out more.
br /-the tray removal takes getting used to (although we've never had problems with it breaking like some of the other reviewers).
br /
br /Overall, this is a great seat. Compact, portable and durable. It's small size means that you don't have to take up your whole kitchen with a highchair. We use this chair everyday, and we've taken it camping, out to eat, and to Grandma's. I highly recommend a booster seat, and with this price you can't really go wrong.

Overall we really like this chair and it comes in handy. One thing I hate is the way the tray comes on and off. It's really easy to get the tray on but the way you have to remove it is impossible if the kid is in the seat. In trying to get it off without crushing my daughters chest I broke off one of the tabs. Now it doesn't fold for travel as well as it should. We still leave it in the trunk and use it when we go out, but if I had to buy another one I probably wouldn't buy this one again or recommend it to others.

We bought this booster because the restraint system on high chair wasn't designed to hold a child into the seat and our 14 month old daughter learned that she could stand up in the seat while buckled in. After 2 days, we think this booster is great! She loves to eat at table height, the restraint is excellent, and after making sure to really tighten the straps that fasten it to the chair, the fit is very snug. I checked the straps and re-tightened today, fyi, might want to check with frequency that they stay tightened. We are planning on traveling next week and plan to take it with us. We haven't used the tray, it's small, but then again, it's supposed to be a portable seat. In response to the comment regarding the classic wooden high chair... we have a small place so we thought we wanted something that would be inconspicuous and fit in with the furniture. The wooden high chairs are high maintenance as far as cleaning! There is no "hosing it down" in the shower, like I've heard other moms do with their plastic chairs, and the seat pad is cloth, so it too is a chore to keep clean. We took ours off and found that the wood veneer started to peel on the seat from wiping with a damp sponge after each meal... I would now choose plastic and low maintenance over aesthetics any day!

We bought this chair before going on vacation. We knew we would need something for the hotel room breakfast at least. On the road, we stopped at a fast food restaurant that didn't have a high chair - we used this booster instead were very pleased. My son never complains getting into it. Now, he uses it for his meals at home as well! We just pull him up to the table don't even use the tray. He likes feeling like a "big boy"!

We purchased this product when my son was strong enough to sit without help, wich was at around 6 or 7 months. My son is now 2 years old and we still use this great booster seat. Almost all restaurants have booster seats, but they cannot be secured to a seat, nor do they have seat belts. So when the child outgrows the high chair, this is the perfect thing to have. It's been tossed around plenty of times, and has taken a lot of beating, but the parts are very sturdy and has not broken. I highly recommend purchase of this product.

I've used this booster seat for my 21 month old son since he could sit up, and just love it! I love the fact that the straps are retractable. I first purchased the booster seat that could recline, but it was shaped weird and did not fit in chairs with arms or odd backs. This seat is the best, and we even brought it with us on a trip to Wisconsin! This seat stays in my trunk for those times when we visit people who do not have a high chair or booster. We even take it into restaurants so my son will have a booster with straps.

All I have to say is that my daughter and I love this chair. She has had it for a year now and what a good year that has been. She loves to sit at the table like a big girl and be with everyone else for dinner. It is very secure and safe and i know she is safe when she is sitting in it. And its very handy for travel, its very light weight, folds uo, and has a storage area for wipies or utensils. Its also a chair your child can sit in until their big enough for the actural table chair itself. I reco0mmend it to every mom and dad out there.

We picked up this booster for our now 2 year old daughter when she grew out of her infant seat and needed somewhere to situp when we went out to eat.
br /
br /We've used it for nearly 2 years now and we're as happy with it now as we were then. We took the door to the storage compartment off a long time ago, it didn't stay shut well and wasn't deep enough to keep the bib in. We never had problems with the tray fitting on or staying on, even during times we've used it daily 3x a day when we've been on the road.
br /
br /We've crossed the country with it 4 times, it's fallen off the roof of my truck and slid down the street, and been run through the dishwasher more times then I can count and other then needing a little time to drain in the strainer when it comes out it takes a licking and keeps on ticking!
br /
br /The tray stopped fitting around the same time our daughter started eating reliably off a plate of her own, so we didn't have the issues other parents might have with the tray being too tight to fit before their children were ready to eat off the table.
br /
br /We purchased one for the grandparents to use and we'll get another one or two when my son is bigger for his use.
br /
br /We still use this 2-3 times a week for my daughter because having the adjustable straps to strap her in when we dine out is a MUST. We've never had a problem with the non-slip feet in a booth, although we have had our daughter bounce the seat off a straight chair at a table three different times (we didn't have the straps tight enough).
br /
br /I recommend it to everyone who asks about it. The peace of mind of knowing it's clean and available through all out travels has been more then worth it. Plus for our daughter it's an always familar bit of home no matter where we go on our travels, she has HER seat to use.
br /

br /2 Years Later, 2 seats in the family and still happy with them! The orignal has held up amazingly well, especially to the flight and landing it took off the top of my truck a year or two ago... scuffed, no broken pieces! The second child is as happy with it as the first. We've traveled everywhere with them and no mater where we go we're still happy!

I liked the way the seat folds, and it is easy to travel with, however the tray locking clasps are very weak. While in the seat, and pushing on the tray, my 9 month old actually broke one of the claps that holds the tray in place. I replaced the tray, and then broke one of the clasps myself taking the tray off of the seat. If you are using the seat directly with a table and not using the tray, this booster seat is fine.

We purchased this booster for our 17 month old little girl because she refuses to sit in a high chair of any kind. I don't use the attachable tray, we just scoot her right up to the table. We liked it so much that we bought a second one to keep in the car to use while eating out. It works great. It's light weight and easy to set up or break down while dining out. It doesn't slide around, keeps her fastened and she loves it.

This chair is wonderful! We take it with us when we go out to dinner or visit relatives. It folds up easily and is easy to clean. I love how the straps wind back into the chair so they aren't hanging. We don't use the side pocket because it doesn't stay closed but other than that we love this chair!

We bought this chair for my son as I wanted a clean seat and plate for him to eat from when we went out to eat or at gramma's. We have been using this for about 13 months and we love it. I recommend this to everyone and have bought it for baby shower gifts. Even though we love it, there are a couple of negatives that do not effect the use or safety of the chair: (1) the table when folded locks in but not well so it pops off which can be annoying when you are trying to carry it and a child and (2) the straps over a year of repeated use no longer wind up (but it still works). Now that we need to use our home highchair for my infant we are going to by another fold n go booster for my 18 month old to use at home as a booster at the table.

When I was expecting my 3rd child, my children were about 18 months, and 4 years old... and I needed to pass down my toddlers highchair to the baby...
br /
br /This saftey first seat is excellent!
br /Features...
br /* The straps that attatch the booster to the chair can roll up underneath the booster seat.
br /* A handle to carry the chair by once folded
br /* A place to hook the tray on when the seat is folded
br /* Optional legs for different hights
br /* A VERY small compartment, we usually just keep a bibster in there (VERY hard to fit it though!)
br /* A lap belt that keeps my son in the chair.
br /* A removable tray, just one (nothing to loose!). It doesnt adjust, but if your baby no longer fits with the tray, they are probably old enough to use the booster underneath the table (like my now 2 year old).
br /
br /I really do not have any complaints, the chair is very sturdy, can fit on nearly every chair we use, and is great for travel, but now my son really doesnt want to sit in the "baby" seats at the restaurants, but I do not like the boosters without straps for the chair that they provide... so this may start getting out more often!

Works well for us!

We purchased the booster a couple of months ago to use in place of the highchair that our child strongly disliked. So far we have been very pleased with this purchase!
br /
br /Before buying this booster, we borrowed a Safety First "Grow with Me Booster" from a dear friend and did enjoy that one. Hers was an older, blue and turquois version, (but not the version that was recalled). After trying that we knew that the booster was the way to go for us, as our then 13 month old was much happier in it than he had been in his highchair.
br /
br /So I went to Babies R Us with the intent of trying out the Fisher Price Booster, with it's rave reviews, and if we didn't like the FP one I would go ahead and purchase the "Grow with Me Booster".
br /
br /Well, a clerk took the FP booster out of the box to let us try it and it was quite small! My child is on the big side, and the clerk and I agreed he would not fit that booster for long.
br /
br /So, since we were at it, I decided we would try out this booster before settling on the "Grow With Me" seat. Well,I certainly am glad that we did!
br /
br /Unlike the "Grow With Me", the "Fold N Go" has only one piece for the seat and one for the back, (plus a tray). While food gets trapped in between the 3 seat pieces plus back of the "Grow With Me" seat, with this "Fold N Go" the fewer parts means it is easier to keep clean - less nooks and crannies!
br /
br /Also, the tray is easier to work on this seat than the GWM, ("Grow With Me"), booster. While I didn't have much trouble with my friend's GWM, my in-laws happen to have a newer, multicolored version of the GWM booster that we use when we visit there. The tray on that GWM booster is quite tricky to use. The FNG, ("Fold N Go), seat has a tray that is much easier to remove. And unlike some of the other reviews, to date our child has never even attempted to remove the tray, so we have had no problem with that. (He was able to remove the tray on his high chair, however).
br /
br /The seat strap is more substancial on this FNG booster than on the GWM booster. It looks and feels more comfortable and of a better quality.
br /
br /Also, some reviewers have complained about the straps that hold this booster to the chair coming loose easily. We rarely remove our booster from our dining chair, and our straps have never become loose.
br /
br /Please note that this booster does feature retractable straps FOR TRAVEL. When installing the booster, you are supposed to pull the straps completely out, per the instructions. If by chance these reviewers are using the retracting feature to tighten the slack on the straps when the seat is installed, this could be the reason that their straps have loosened up.
br /
br /Also, a note to those who complain that this or any booster is unstable. Perhaps the fault lies not in the booster, but in the chair to which it is installed.
br /
br /Our booster is strapped into an oak dining chair, but it is not a bulky oak chair. So why it is heavier than some dining chairs, our child could still tip it over if he is seated too closely to the kitchen table. If he pushes on the table while in the seat, he could possibly knock over his chair.
br /
br /At this point he mostly uses the booster with its tray. But whether the booster is being used with the tray or without the tray at the kitchen table, he and all children should be supervised while in the booster. Also it is important that the booster be installed to a chair with a seat that is wider than the seat of the booster.
br /
br /Another thing I will commment on is the portability of this booster. While we have never left the house with it, I have moved it to another chair once and packed it up with the intent of taking it out once. It folds up nicely and installs pretty easily on the next chair. The compartment on the back which is designed to hold a small item or 2 really isn't very helpful, as the door to the compartment pops open easily. But I am not going to down-grade the product based on that feature, because I didn't buy it for that feature. (I like the "Tiny Diner" for use at restaurants, by the way. I don't want to lug around a booster chair!)
br /
br /Finally, in hindsite it might have been nice to purchase a good booster with the padding on the back of the seat, because if my child is upset, like when I try to brush his teeth while he is in the seat, he tends to throw his head back and hit the back of our dining chair. However, I am also not going to down-grade the booster on that aspect, because I knew what I was getting when I chose this seat and I liked the idea of no padding because I thought it would be easier to clean. I had no idea, at the time, that throwing his head back would be an issue and I hope he outgrows that habit soon!
br /
br /So, all in all, I think this is a good booster and I am very pleased with this purchase. I paid $19.99 for it and if you can get it cheaper, all the better!

My son is 18 months old and was starting to fight the highchair. He showed an interest in sitting at the table with us. We bought this booster for several reasons.
br /
br /1. It has straps that fit it securely to both the seat and the back of the chair for added stability.
br /
br /2. It has a 3 point harness to keep our wiggly guy in the booster seat.
br /
br /3. It folds easily for travel so he can use the same seat at home, friend's houses, and at restaurants. He also responds well to the consistency of always eating in the same booster.
br /
br /4. We have a table with a decorative piece that hangs down 3 inches under the lip of the table. Other boosters with high arms or the clip on type of booster could not be used with our kitchen table. This one worked perfectly.
br /
br /5. It is easy to clean with only one place for food to get trapped (the part where the back folds into the seat for travel).
br /
br /We do not use the tray with this product. Our son uses it to sit directly at the table. It is a great transitional item to help transition our son from a traditional highchair to an adult chair. We also love using the Tiny Diner Portable Placemat product from Kiddopotamus with this booster. It is a foldable surface that provides our child a sanitary way to eat directly off the table at restaurants and folds up easily into a bag.

The day my husband and I purchased this booster, the clip that holds the tray in place while in the folded position broke off. What a dissapointment.
This booster is not what we hoped it would be.

I'm the mother of 2 girls (ages 1 and 2)
br /Problems:
br /1. The compartment lid absolutely will not stay closed and never has.
br /2. It is just about impossible to clean completely without taking it apart and that is also just about impossible without breaking it.
br /3. The tray only has one position which was qhite snug on both of my kids and they are average size.
br /
br /Benefits:
br /1. I love the ratcheting belts so you don't have to drag them or tie them up.
br /2. I also love the design of the seat buckles. My 2 year old can fasten herself in but can't get herself out. That's perfect.
br /3. I do like how it all folds up and is compact. We've taken it everywhere because restaurant highchairs are just so nasty.
br /Problems:
br /1. The compartment lid absolutely will not stay closed and never has.
br /2. It is just about impossible to clean completely without taking it apart and that is also just about impossible without breaking it.
br /3. The tray only has one position which was qhite snug on both of my kids and they are average size.

I bought this booster seat after reading many reviews of it and other booster options. It does fold easily and become compact for travel. However, the tray slopes away from the child and that ridge is just about large enough to keep a fruit puff on, but provides no retention at all for a sippy cup or rolling cheerio. In addition the tray is held on in the folded position with two small tabs and a clip. The tabs interfere with putting the tray on when the seat is in use. Don't force the tray on, it takes very little pressure to snap off the tabs and then the tray won't stay on in the folded position anymore. Without the tray it is a pretty good booster seat, but don't get this if you will need to use the tray.

We purchased this seat because we didn't have a whole lot of room in our dining room for a highchair, and we liked the fact of having our son right up to the table with us. We enjoy eating out,and it's nice to fold up and take with you so you don't have to use nasty restarant highchairs. But, my son is now 14months old,and we couldn't get him in and out of this seat with our dining room chairs anymore with out his getting scratches on his thighs! So if you have "high" or "padded" dining room chairs, I wouldn't reccomend this for anything other than a travel seat.

I really like this booster seat because it folds compactly and is lightweight. We used this with our daughter who is now 5 and kept it in our van mostly for travel and restaurants and then moved it into our kitchen because it was the only booster we could find that would fit under our table. I liked to take our own seat places because restaurant chairs are always so filthy. I don't really like the tray. One of the tabs broke early on. I should have returned it. Also, the tray is very small. We have twin boys now and need another one of these for travel. I think this time I will buy the FisherPrice Healthy Care because the reviews here on line are very good, but I will still use this one as well.

another great product. for almost a year, i was using the eddie bauer wooden high chair(loved it), but my son figured out how to unbuckle himself and climb out, so we bought this to use at the table like a "big boy". he absolutely loves this chair. he figured out how to get himself in and out, but i dont worry as much about him falling, since he's alot closer to the ground than in a normal size highchair. the only complaint i have about this chair, is the straps loosen on the kitchen chair. ive found that safety pins on the inside of the straps keep it well in place. havent tried it at a restaurant, but it works at home, so im sure it will work out to. not too big to carry around.

The Fold N Go Booster is very convenient, compact and light weight. The only thing I do not like is the tray is a little snug around my sons stomach, so I usually do not use the tray. It would have been better if the tray was adjustable. Other than that we love it.

Hate the high chair getting in the way in the kitchen - the booster seat is convenient - and easy to wash. I leave it at the kitchen table - too lazy to pack and take with us. Great for eating directly at the table, or with the tray.

i love this seat! i wish that it had a reclining mode, but i think that theres no way it would travel in such a handy little package if it did that! i love how the straps wind up, the seat completely folds up, and the lid snaps on! how cool is that! it travels so nicely! i definitely recommend this product!

My kids use the booster regularly since it does not take up as much space as the high chair. It is easy to clean and has not broken with every day use as other models have. It is easy to fold up and take with you, too. It is the best one for the price range.
Great! Especially if you are traveling.

Great! Lightweight, easy to store, easy to open, can be packed in a suitcase, left at Grandma's house. Tray can be a little snug since there is no way of making adjustments to it. But then again, if you child is big enough they can just push up to the actual table.

I tried two other booster seat type seats my kitchen area is to tiny for a highchair. And this one works perfectly! He never really liked the tray, but that's ok, the belt is so secure that I can push him right up to the table (My son is 1yr old), which he loves to do when his friends come over who are older and can sit an the kitchen chairs.

I have been quite displeased with this seat. I feel that it is unsafe because my daughter can easily fall over while in this seat if she rocks or reaches for an object. The strap that is supposed to secure it to a chair loosens if she moves at all! Therefore, we have only been able to use it on the floor. It is uncomfortable for her because it does not recline. This makes it hard for her to tilt her head back to drink. I would not recommend this product at all.

I just bought this as an extra to remain at Grandma's house. Well, my 1 year old 21 lb daughter can hardly fit between the tray and the seat. The tray only has 1 position and it is so snug against her stomach, with just a light shirt on, that she can't use it comfortable.
br /
br /If your child is super skinny this is probably a better bet for you. The straps did seem to hold my daughter in safely, but the non-adjustable tray just made this booster impossible for us to use.

I bought this booster seat without checking the reviews like I normally do, and what a dissaster! The tray broke (locking clip on left side broke off) and now my 1 year old can easily pop off the tray with one kick of his leg. The tray itself is not adjustable so as he gets bigger he will outgrow it. The booster is not as compact as I thought, so I don't really know how much better of a traveling seat it is than others. So next time....I will check the reviews first! Lesson learned.

I thought I'd love it because it folds up small and has all these neat little features. But the one thing that just didn't sit right with me was its flimsiness!
br /
br /The tray is at best a thin piece of plastic. It's also hard to put on and take off the seat. Furthermore, you can't adjust its position on the booster.
br /The lid for the so-called compartment in the back hardly stays in place, and pops off with the slightest jiggle, making it impossible to store anything in it.
br /The wind-up straps don't really lock in place -- the straps can easily slip loose while fastened on the chair, making it very dangerous for the child.
br /
br /The only remarkable feature that it has is that it folds up smaller than any of the other booster seats with trays that I've seen on the market. But because it's so flimsy and frustrating to use, we returned it as soon as I took it out of the box.

My in-laws live far away, and they bought this chair for my daughter to use when we stay at their house. She has been able to comfortably sit in it since about 5 months old. The extendable straps are great, and I've had no problem attaching it to a number of different styles of dining chairs. I think my daughter feels like she is included more with the adult diners when she sits in this chair versus when she sits in her highchair at our home. It really could be used as a permanent highchair. The only reason I am not rating it with 5 stars is because the lid to the storage compartment on the back always swings open when I try move the chair, and has even fallen off a few times. This storage compartment is useless and has always been a nuisance for me.

I recently borrowed this chair from a neighbor when we needed a solution for a camp trip. It was so great I am planning to buy one right away. I used it right on top of the table, on the ground and strapped to a chair.
br /
br /One bad thing about using it on the floor. My son is a wriggler and likes to touch his toes. He leaned over and the chair tipped forward with him in it. As long as you keep an eye on your little one, or strap it to a chair, this isn't too big of a problem.

This has been the perfect solution for my husband and me when we take our three small girls to dinner. The fold-down design and the anchor straps mean that you can even carry it over your arm or shoulder like a diaper bag. I can honestly carry two of these, keep one seven month old on that arm, and navigate a stroller with the other seven month old. I haven't found any other booster that portable.

br /We have even put away the big high chairs in favor of these boosters at home with our own dining chairs.

br /This is the Must-Buy for any family with small kids.

The nice thing about this chair is that it's pretty cheap and folds up very easily so you're not lugging around a whole bunch of parts. It is very easy to set up and put back together and easy to clean. Our son sits well in it and doesn't scream or anything in it either so that's a huge plus. It is very compact which is a nice plus for traveling and space. I like being able to attach it to other chairs and being able to get it back together in no time without any help. That's a plus if you're traveling alone. I'd highly recommend this for any mom who loves to travel. It definetly has its perks.

We have had this booster for almost 3 years now and we still use it for my 2 1/2 yr old son. We have been using it ever since he could sit in a highchair and we have never had problems. It always stays in our vehicle, so we are always prepared.By using it all the time when we go out to place that ran out of highchairs, we never had to wait for an available one. We are always prepared. Over time, a few couples like the idea that it was so convenient, they when out and got one for themselves too.
br /For parents who had their tray table broken, maybe the got a faulty one. I highly recommend it.

This item should be recalled. I bought it at Toys r Us and found that the tab that holds the tray in place can easily break off leaving a bright yellow colored piece of plasitc for your baby to swollow and choke on.
br /I packed it right back and took it to the Toys r us store where the manager refused to take it back because there was a food stain on it. So I spent $17 for a choking hazard!

On the recommendation of friends, I purchased this booster seat for my son. Our high chair is just a little to big for him, so I thought this might be a good alternative. I am so glad I have the receipt because it is going right back. I tried it for the first time last night. My six month old son was repeatedly able to pop the tray off! I also didn't feel comfortable with the folding legs - they just seem too wobbly. I would feel much better if they locked into place. I wish I had gone to BabiesRUs and tried out the seat before I bought it - something I highly recommend all parents do!

At first we were really happy with this seat. We never used the tray as we just pushed our baby up to the table and we never messed with the retractable straps or storage compartment. Then our baby got sick and vomited while in the seat, as babies frequently do. Now, because the seat doesn't come apart we have a disgusting pool of vomit inside the seat that cannot be cleaned. When we turned the dial to retract the straps in a futile effort to take the thing apart, it actually drips vomit out of the dial! The company told us there was no way to take the seat apart and clean it out. We are disgusted and will buy a new seat this weekend.

br /Buy this seat only if you are very sure your child will never spit up, become sick, or otherwise get food all over the seat.

I liked this chair up until recently. My daughter just turned a year old, and is a little monkey. I had the chair sitting on the floor one day (with her in it) while I was getting a snack ready. Next thing I know she's screaming and I peek around the corner from the kitchen and she's stuck infront of the entertainment center with the chair on top of her. I had failed to put the tray on and she got up and tried to walk with it strapped to her. She can rock forward with the tray on and get stuck that way too. I've also noticed that as she's getting bigger, and she's a small child, the tray doesn't fit so well. I fear strapping it to a chair and having her rock forward and have the chair fall over on her as well. =\
