If you're a two vehicle family and you have the infant carrier that goes with this product, it's great. If you only have one car, or a different infant carrier, this product probably isn't for you!

This product makes having multiple cars much easier. My only complaint is that no matter where you look, They are $50...half the price of the complete seat.

This base is easy to adjust. However, if you have a car with leather seats it is difficult to secure the base. With the use of a non slip rug mat between the seat and base along with a cut up noodle (yes the ones you use in the pool) it was secure. I learned this trick from a fireman who installed the car seat for my 2 year old.

Makes it so easy to transfer kids for the night or weekend. Car seat just stays hooked up in my car all the time. Only reason not 5 stars, is it rattles without the weight of the car seat/baby in it, so have to put something weighted in it.

I bought this base for my nephew's car seat. I keep him in my home and drive an older car without latch hooks. This base has a locking mechanism that works with the seatbelt to completely secure the base/seat. It will not move once this locking feature is secured. And I feel so much safer with this in my car than the older models I used with my own kids. This thing is great!

Having a second base makes life so much easier when you have two cars. No more switching the base back and forth. The convience is worth the price especially durning cold Minnesota winters when the last thing you want to do is stand outside in below freezing temps to switch a carseat base from one car to another!

I recently purchased the Graco Quatro Imperial design travel system, and you could not purchase the extra base for this system in any store. I ordered the extra base on-line it's exactly like the original base that came with my system. I'm very happy with this product.

We ordered the extra base so we would have one for each car. It is exactly what we needed. We did not find it in stores so had to order online. Amazon had a good price and delivered it in a timely manner.

Great base to an almost perfect car seat. The base itself is very easy to take from one vehicle to the next and it's very secure once it's locked in place. I love how it's adjustable by the turn of a knob rather than having to separate two pieces of plastic (cut/pinch hazard) for height control. The base is very sturdy and holds the car seat well. My only gripe is that of the size of the car seat itself, that thing is HUGE compared to others! As for the base, I'm very satisfied with the purchase, and would gladly buy another one if I had another vehicle.
