This car seat is awesome - is also saved my baby's life. We were in a really bad car accident where our car rolled completely over.... the car seat didn't budge and my daughter didn't even get a scratch! This car seat is great with the peg perego strollers too. I have had nothing but a great experience with their products.
Good build quality but not worth it.

Pros: Excellent build quality. The car seat feels very robust and you can tell the materials and craftsmanship are both top notch.
br /
br /Cons: Heavy! The car seat alone is close to 10 lbs, and this was the main reason why we returned it. We went with a Graco SnugRide instead which is only 7 lbs and 1/3 the price.
br /
br /Other issues:
br /- The seat angle is a little more upright than other car seats and we wanted something more reclined.
br /
br /- The car seat base was easy enough to install but no matter what I did, I couldn't get it to level out in the back seat of my car. There is an adjustable knob that you turn to change the angle of the seat, but when I went to secure the seat with the LATCH system, it pulled the other side of the base up negating the extra angle the adjustment knob gave me.
br /
br /- Most annoyingly, however, is that the car seat base has a little ball bearing level to indicate if the base is installed properly. It works well, and the point is to get the ball bearing in the "green" section (which of course I couldn't), but whenever you drove anywhere, the ball bearing would make a racket inside its chamber annoying the heck out of me. Why couldn't they just use a silent bubble level like everyone else?

br /It's expensive so I'd shop around.
