What a great product! I wish they would have come out with it back when my first son was a baby! Our current baby is eight months old, and he is still in his Graco Infant SafeSeat (he has several more months' worth of room to go in it). The SafeSeat fits beautifully in this swing frame. Whenever I get home and my son is asleep in the car seat, I just pop the seat into this frame and turn it on, and he will go right back to sleep and stay asleep for a long time. Or if he is napping in the swing and I need to go out to run an errand, he stays asleep because I don't have to move him out of the swing into a car seat. Wonderful!
br /
br /This is the only swing we have, and I find that it is the only one we need. As a plus, the swing frame folds up compactly and travels very well. The only complaints I have are: 1.) The swing motor is a little loud, and 2.) I have to run the swing on the highest speed to keep it swinging, since my son is getting a bit heavy. But overall, this is a brilliant and much-needed baby item!

While pregnant with our second son, I was on a mission to find myself a small, lightweight swing that could easily be carried up and down our stars with my bad back and that didn't take up a whole lot of space in our house. With our first son, we had your standard bulky swing and I absolutely hated it because it was just too darn big a bulky. So, while pregnant with our new little one I actually found a small Fisherprice swing that I wanted but when I sent my husband out go buy it, the store didn't have it so he bought this one instead. Boy am I glad he did. This swing has all the features that your standard swing has (vibration setting, music, swooshing water sound, adjustible speed) with the added benefit of holding your infant car seat so you can just carry your baby from the car to this swing. Also, this swing travels very well so you can fold it up and take it to grandma's or where ever. My one concern before using it was that the motor wouldn't be powerful enough to swing a heavy car seat with a baby in it but it actually does very well.
br /
br /Our son loves this and I love it. This is my new favorite baby item in our house.

We bought this because we saw it as a great way to eliminate 1 piece of baby clutter by combining the baby swing with car seat storage. It is a fantastic product that makes my life easier and is well worth the money. When I know I need to do errands and my daughter is due for a nap, I put her to sleep in the car seat in the swing and then we're good to go whenever. So far, she is young enough to stay sleeping when we come home but I can see where it would help later on to keep her sleeping after she falls asleep in the car.
br /
br /Like the other reviews, my minor complaints are that the controls for the sound and vibrations are very poorly located where you can't see them to operate them. I don't mind this at all because frankly, I find the Graco music boxes (on this swing and our pack-n-play) kind of creepy and I don't use them. The music doesn't have a nice "tinkly" sound like many baby music boxes and instead reminds me a little bit of a "twangy" organ sound like in a creepy movie. The motor is rather noisy but, hey, it doesn't bother my baby and the repetitive clicking sound might even sound something like a heartbeat to her. I think the motor is able to move such a heavy combination of baby and car seat by having a *very* smoothly gliding swing mechanism. I notice that if I put any pressure at all on the swing (like pushing in a pacifier), it can't swing against it. With this type of mechanism, I expect it to last a long time and it really don't go through batteries as fast as I feared it would.
br /
br /Overall, I highly recommend this product. I only took off 1 star because I feel like the controls could be easily relocated by the manufacturer and because I really dislike that music.

I love the portability of this swing. It comes apart very easily and I was able to fit the main part the car seat sits on in my suitcase without trouble.
br /
br /One reason I did not give this swing 5 stars was because of the control switches. They are in an inconvenient spot--under where the car seat edge overhangs. Also, I feel that the controls should have been buttons rather than dials/switches. Even though they go off automatically after half an hour, they remain in the ON position. If you want to restart one function the other automatically restarts too, which can be a pain in the butt.
br /
br /The second reason being that this frame fits the SnugRide and the bigger SafeSeat. The Snugride can be a little wobbly on it since there is extra room. While that is annoying and a bit disconcerting, it's not really a major problem.
Nice Idea But...

While this is a nice idea for swings, it ultimately didn't work out all that well for us. It is very portable and takes up very little space, but it is so low to the ground that it can be a bit tricky getting baby in and out of the contraption. It's low height also makes it difficult to see whether or not you have the latches lined up and can irritate a bad back. A frame with adjustable heights would have made more sense. Also the audible click when you set the carseat in the frame is loud enough to wake up a sleeping baby. Kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? Also the speed settings are on a dial that seems to only have two speeds: Way too fast or not fast enough. Your only choices are a speed that is so fast that the carseat thumps back and forth or so slow that the swing eventually winds down and stops. If you do manage to find just the right speed, there are no markings on the dial so good luck finding it again.
br /The small profile and portability just didn't outweigh the other inconveniences of this swing for us.

I bought this because I live in a one bedroom apt. and don't have a lot of room. A bouncy seat AND a swing? It sounded perfect. For one month it was wonderful. I put my newborn twins in the swing at about 3 weeks and it would immediately put them to sleep. They enjoyed the swinging more than the vibrations. The babies also seem to enjoy the nature sounds. I don't use the music function. The vibrating part gets weaker as the batteries run low. The swing also swings with less force as the batteries run low.
br /
br /After a month it broke. I bought new batteries, but that wasn't the problem. The motor made a sound, but it wouldn't swing. I took the thing apart twice and put it back together. Nothing. I had to call Graco directly because it was past the 30 days that I could contact the online store I bought it from. Graco was very nice and they sent out a replacement motor. It took a week to get here (not so great) and it didn't solve the problem. SO I called Graco again and they said they would send out the non-motor side of the swing because it looked like it was that side that had stopped working properly. They sent me another motor!! So I called them again and AGAIN they sent me the wrong part!
br /
br /It's now been a month that I have not been able to use the swing. I had to speak with a supervisor to persuade them to send me out a new swing, but they insisted that I send in the old one first and then I would have to wait for it to get there and then wait another two weeks to get the replacement. This was unacceptable considering that I have already been unable to use the swing for a month. Finally they agreed to send the new swing and I'm waiting for it now.
br /
br /Do all of these break or was I just unlucky? I'm looking forward to being able to use this swing again. I like it enough that I'm willing to give it another try before I go out and buy a new swing altogether.

Some pros are:
br /
br /You can plop the baby in the carseat right into it when you enter the house--gives you some time to remove your coat before having to unstrap the child.
br /
br /It creates its own storage space for the car seat itself when you are not using it (I like having a "right place" for my things.)
br /
br /As another reviewer said, the mechanism is smooth and well-balanced enough to use gravity to swing for a while if you push it.
br /
br /Some cons (or noteworthy elements) are:
br /
br /The vibration mechanism takes AAA batteries installed at the bottom of the swinging part.
br /
br /The swinging mechanism takes C batteries installed at the top of the swing arms.
br /
br /I think the vibration is not as intense as the other vibrating products that use only a peice of fabric to hold the baby--it's simply not possible to shake a heavy seat that strongly with batteries. But it seems to please my 9 week old son and put him to sleep. He weighs 12 lbs.

We puchased this for our third baby and it has been awsome. Being the third, she spends quite a bit of time getting siblings around and it's great to not worry about waking her to put her in the car seat. If I know we're going to be leaving soon, I just buckle her in and grab her on our way out. It's also great if she falls asleep right as we're getting home, we put her in the swing and she'll finish taking a full nap. It took a few times to get the swing control right, but as long as blankets and things are out of the way, it's not a problem. The clicking from the swinging motion seems to be just the right amount of white noise amongst the chaos of her 2 brothers. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially if this is a second, third (etc.) baby.

I don't know what we'd do without this swing! We have a full sized swing, and our son prefers to nap in the swing over lying down, so this makes a nice portable alternative. We've brought it on picnics, when we go away, and even to a wedding reception, and it lets him nap. It's also good for when we come home and he's fallen asleep in the car - we just bring him inside in the carseat and snap him in the swing, and he'll keep sleeping. I wouldn't be without this!!
Great concept, poor performance!

This is our first baby and I researched everything we even considered buying. I tend to take negative reviews with a grain of salt and was excited about this product. We just received this swing frame as a gift and I put it together right away and tried it out. We have a Graco Snugride carseat and my 7 week old baby is 11 lbs. This product folds up well for travel, which is one of the main reasons we registered for it. The vibration (2 settings) and music/nature sounds work well. You can adjust the speed which is nice. The problem with it is the motor simply cannot keep up. You can hear and see the problem. The motor works hard to keep up and the swing would go faster at times then slow way down - which startled my sleeping baby. It actually kept a more consistent pace before I put the batteries in and just pushed the seat with my son in it. If Graco put a more appropriate sized motor in it, I would definitely recommend this product. Until then, mine is getting returned.
Ok, not stupendous!

I got the snugglider to travel with and those rare occasions that my son was still sleeping after a car ride. The controls are a bit difficult and there is no volume control. The speed is hard to adjust as there are no real settings indicated, just a scroll wheel. It is convenient for when I go to the gym and he goes to the gym daycare, but I probably would have just bought a travel swing for what I paid and been just as happy.

This is a great product. It is very light weight and portable, easy to use, and a space saver! The only drawback is that it's a bit loud. It makes a clicking sound similiar to the old school swings that you needed to wind.

This product is great for kids that like to keep moving. The only draw back has been that it doesn't have a ton of power to rock if you have a big/heavy baby. But the vibrations are enough to keep my baby snoozing. Very easy assembly too.

My little one will not stay in his car seat without crying unless there is movement. I really wanted to have a swing for him but due to limited space I thought that this was not possible. Then I saw this and since the car seat has to go somewhere this seemed the perfect place to put it. I found it very easy to assemble and love the fact it will collapse down and I can throw it in the car with everything else if I am going to see someone that doesn't have a baby themselves. The motor is on the noisy side but that doesn't seem to bother my little one. But this is the reason I only gave it four stars. I have to say that this is working for me so far. Today my Little One managed to stay in his car seat asleep for 45 minutes before waking after getting back in the house. So it has given me time to get things sorted after getting home before having to sort him out. Also I can get him ready before I go out and set the swing going without having to worry about him getting upset while I finish getting me ready. Also it does offer a very convenient place to store the car seat and the frame doesn't take up to much room even when up and of course if I have the need for space I can just collapse it down and store it away. I would recommend this product for those who need a swing but have limited space or who need a swing that will transport without too much problem.

I love this product, I like how my car seat is the swing.
br /It had a lot of pieces to put together but fairly easy. I like that it folds to save space, and makes it easy to travel.
br /Putting my baby in the swing was the first time I got him to sleep for more then 4 hours in the night. I still haven't needed to change the batteries in the swinger, the bouncy part never worked on mine, and I've been to busy to get that fixed. But it's a great option.

Having already had a small, cute Pooh travel swing for my first daughter that was a PIECE OF JUNK; I took a chance and ordered this frame for my second daughter.
br /
br /I was SUPER pleased with this product. My car seat fits right in it no problem (Graco Snugride) and it looks cute. It is a piece of cake to use and the power is unbelievable.
br /
br /I don't have all the problems with the batteries that others do, though; because I use rechargeable batteries throughout my house. I have two sets for the swing and when one dies, I pop the other set in while I charge it up. Works great.

This is a great temporary swing to use while the baby is still an infant. It conveniently works with the car seat and is easy to snap together. The baby really enjoys it and has taken many naps that he would not take laying still. Every new parent needs a swing - hope this one works for you. I have not tried any of the sounds on it or vibrations.

I really like having a swing. I have had others that work better but this beats them with convenience. It small, easy to take with you and I love that I can take my sleeping baby straight from the car to his swing so he can finish his nap. I would have gave this five stars but I feel its not very powerful and the batteries run down fast.

Love this gadget, so does my baby. Doesn't take up much space, relative to other swings. I store the car seat on it when both items are not in use. Does make a clicking noise, but baby gets use to it, it becomes white noise to him after awhile. The only downside is that although there is a dial to set your speed, it will only work on the high setting. The weight of the baby at the lower setting will put the swing mechanism off track and would need to be reset. For the price and size, worth it and highly recommended.

I was so excited about getting this...we also have the Graco Stroller frame and Graco Sweatpeace Swing and love all the integration. But, this just doesn't work. It would not swing on low at all...as another reviewer said, it either doesn't swing at all or goes WAY too fast. Maybe when my daughter gains weight I will try it again and maybe her weight will make the fast speed slow down. But, I'm not happy with it. ALSO, IMPORTANT TO NOTE...you can't adjust the straps while the seat is clicked into the swing...it is a safety thing...any time it is "clicked in" like in the carseat base, the straps are locked. So, if you use this to hold the carseat like we were planning too...as you come in the door and want to swing your baby...just know that you can't loosen or tighten the straps while it is clicked in. Just thought people might want to know. I would not buy this swing. Invest in the SWEATPEACE...WOW!!! You can click your carseat in that as well!

This product is a good item to have because the ease of just snapping the car seat in and being done. The baby loves it, although the music could be a little better in my option it is creepy. The real down side to this swing is that it runs on C cell batteries and they tend to run down quickly (about 4-5hours), in my option you should have the option to plug it into the wall, but it is not that far advanced yet. I am sure that the designers at Graco will figure that out in the near future.

The SnugGlider is one piece used by the Graco SnugSeat or SafeSeat car seat systems. The purpose is to unhook the car seat from the base that is in your car, then snap the car seat into the swing inside the house or snap it into the stroller. I love this system. I've dealt with the other car seats where you have to constantly buckle in the seat. Never again. Graco's system is very nice. My wife and I love it. I reccommend the entire system, car seat, car base, swing, stroller. It certainlty has made our life a bit easier.

With two older children to bring here and there, this product was a lifesaver! I put the baby down for his nap in his car seat, put him in the swing. Then I would get the girls ready for their activities, grab the baby and go! He loves it and sleeps for long periods of time if needed.

The idea is good, put your sleeping baby from the car to the house without the baby waking. My daughter is rarely sleeping when we come home so there goes that good idea and when she is, unfortunately she still wakes and wants out. So, I rarely use it and even though I rarely use it, the motor all of a sudden started making a loud disturbing noise that wakes my baby anyways. Its not worth the money spent, in my opinion. Save your money and buy something else.

I completely hated the idea of getting yet another piece of baby stuff that we would use for a few months, take up too much space, and create trash for the environment. that said, a crying baby needs something sometimes - since we already have the carseat, this swing was great; it's minimal additional stuff and can fold up and be put under the crib. it doesn't have the gizmos like mobiles and stuff, but does the job. i have to say that it is a bit short, so if you wanted a full size, it's not going to do the trick. you have to put it on the table or someting firm.
br /
br /the vibration and music box takes 4 AA batteries and is pretty lame, but no less so than most of the other swings i've seen. i wish someone would make al these swings power plug in/battery optional. this takes 4 C batteries; lasts a while but still.
