I purchased this pillow for my son as I was tired of seeing him slumped over in his car seat while he slept.

br /With the RestUpRight pillow, he is secure and alligned in his carseat and sleeps with a straight spine. The pillow is adjustable and the fabic is really soft. Also, its VERY easy to use!! It is well-made and it comes with straps so that the pillow goes over the seatbelt and it does not slip down while he sleeps.

I've been stumped in trying to find something for the car for my son to use that wouldn't bother my other two kids (we have a Lincoln Town Car, so it's tight in the backseat) and this pillow has been our pillow SALVATION! Works perfectly, my son's head doesn't loll around and it's narrow design keeps him in his own personal space! AWESOME!!!!!!!! I'm ordering the adult version RIGHT NOW!

When my daughter switched to her current carseat she complained it sat up to straight and she couldn't rest. I found the RestUpRight Pillow and ordered one. It came very quickly and she is now very happy to rest in the car again with her new pillow hugged tightly to her and tucked under her chin. She regularly falls asleep instead of just resting.

br /I love that it is adjustable with the removable sections of foam. I have both sections out right now and stored in the zippered plastic bag it came in in the back end of my car. Thank you for a great product that will grow with my daughter! I would recommend to all families with kids.

This pillow is a "must have" for anyone who has a child in a booster seat. I bought one for my Granddaughter after reading the other reviews and they were all correct. Not only does it keep my Granddaughter comfy but it also keeps her safe. Before this RestUpRight Pillow she would fold in half resting her head on her knees after falling asleep. Hardly a safe position! The RestUpRight Pillow does just that!! It holds my granddaughter in the correct position for her seatbelt to protect her as it was meant to do. She is 4 years old and I took out 2 of the foam inserts to make it the correct height for her so she will be able to use this pillow for a long time. I thought the RestUpRight Pillow was a bit pricey at first compared to those neck rolls advertized but it is worth every penny and more. Oh yeah, and my Granddaughter loves resting on her pillow, gladly reaching for it when getting sleepy. These pillows should be sold in stores along with the booster seats.
A good idea

This is a great idea for kids stuck in car seats who doze off. For my 3 year old though (who is 40 inches tall) the fit was not good - too big with just one of the pieces of foam removed, and too short with two pieces removed. It was uncomfortable for him and he ended up not using it, preferring to rest his head on his big teddy bear. I tried it out and found it awkward, though better than nothing, and moderately better than u-shaped neck pillows which don't prevent your head from falling forward.

br /However, I don't like the fact that it is made of polyurethane foam, which I was unaware of before I purchased it. I have read alot of health and environmental concerns about polyurethane and am not sure if I will try it again for my son for this reason.

The pillow is well worth the price. It is very soft would be an excellent travel companion for the little ones. Even though our little one didn't appreciate that we were trying to make him more comfortable and not being mean to him, when he gets a little older (closer to 3), I am sure he will like it. He is not even 2 years old now and he doesn't really understand what a travel pillow is. We have tried several different avenues to make him more comfortable on long trips, but he seems to want nothing with him in his car seat right now. :-|
br /We do intend to keep the pillow and let him use it when he gets a little older. The pillow is advertized as being for 3-6 year olds, but we were hoping that "just maybe" he would let us use it now. It is still well worth the money that we spent on it.

What a clever design! I couldn't find any other pillow that would work with a booster seat, but since the child holds onto it and it comes with a very simple attachment strap, it will work with any seat. My three and a half year old daughter loves the cozy fleece and will snuggle up with the pillow whether she's tired or not. And it's easily adjustable to the perfect length by removing the foam inserts. We'll try this out on an 8 hour drive to grandma's soon -- I think that it will do it's job perfectly and prevent that painful 'sleeping slump'.

bought this pillow for my 3 yr old since his new car seat is more upright and his head falls forward when he sleeps. the pillow works as a good prop to support his head, but still needs parental assistance. my son doesn't hold it when he's falling asleep, so I have to wedge it under his chin once he's out. the loops to hook it onto the seat belt don't seem to align and are difficult to try to attach when he's already asleep, so we don't use those at this time. if he moves around, sometimes the pillow comes loose and I have to re-situate it (an issue if I'm driving and there's no one else to help). it's a good concept and works ok for the time being, but will hopefully be better when he's a bit older.
Nice Surprise

This pillow seemed like it would work OK... and it does. My 6-year-old really likes it. It made a 12-hour car ride much more comfortable for him. It's really great that it's adjustable.

My daughter loves her pillow and I actually need to purchase one for the other car because when we switch she gets all stinky and says "now how am I gonna sleep mom?". GREAT INVENTION.

I don't try to make car time, nap time, but it just seems that my 3 1/2 year old likes to nod off now and then. She always seemed to find to most uncomfortable position to lay in, with her neck all contorted. This pillow completely corrects that issue. It is super simple to attach to the seat belt. It is adjustable for the length of her torso, and stays in place as she naps. I am even planning to take this on the plane for her.

I read the reviews and was very excited to try this with my 3 year old. We have had the twisted neck syndrom so many times, I really hoped that this would solve our car sleeping problems. Alas, my 3 year old, after trying it for about 10 minutes, rejected it. I had taken out the adjustment foam so it fit him, but he just coudn't get used to it. That is not to say that I haven't used it a couple of times (I put back the adjustment foam and it fits me great) as we have traveled, though. I guess it just depends on the child. We'll probably try it on the next one when she gets big enough.

This pillow is totally functional and comes in handy when traveling and space is limited. I even use it at home when just watching television. It creates a natural relaxing position, it is a must have.
