My mother is my daughter's primary child care provider. While she doesn't think she will "travel" with my 16 month old, I know she eventually will. So, to be sure that she is safe, we did a great deal of research on this seat. As a result of all the information I came up with, I informed my mother that she could get this one. I installed it last week for her. The baby fits nicely into it and will for quite some time. It goes up to 100 lbs! The padding is quite thick, which results in the seat being soft. The baby has sat in the seat and appears to be quite comfortable (while watching TV).

Very disappointing.

We were very satisfied with our first Graco (the infant SafeSeat model), so when it came time to upgrade to a forward-facing model, we decided to go with Graco again. Big mistake! Yes, it's cushy and good-looking, but that's about it - the BIG problem(s) are the straps - they are difficult (practically impossible) to tighten and manipulate, and they keep twisting up (especially in the buckle slots). Though they are on a 5-point harness system just like our first seat, they seem cheaper and don't work nearly as well..we are going to return this seat this weekend and go for the well rated (and unfortunately much more expensive) Britax. If you're considering this seat, keep shopping, seriously.

Nice car seat for a nice price

My toddler loves this seat and it's pretty easy to install back and forth into my different cars. The price was pretty nice as well...not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. The only issue I have with it is the cup holders....my 1 year old figured how to take those out within 2 seconds of his first time sitting in it. Also, adjusting the strap tension is a little hard as well..but other than that, I really think it's a good seat!

Top quality, safety and comfort at a bargain price

We spent a great deal of time shopping for our next car seat after my dissatisfaction with Peg Perego infant car seat. Like most people we were not willing to compromise on safety or comfort but would prefer to spend $100 rather than $300 for the so-called top-of-the line models. After reading the comparison reviews on (ahem) other sites we decided to try the Graco Zephyr as it had received great reviews and looked very comfortable.

We ordered this seat online a month ago and wow - Our 1-year old could not be happier! Take it from me - I hate installing this stuff and hate reading directions, so I was happy to find out firsthand that this seat was easier to install than many competitors - it took

Its just OK....

My daughter is comfortable in it but like the other reviewers said, the straps are almost impossible to adjust, although I have not had any trouble with them twisting. Also, if you have a small car like me, do not buy this car seat. It is a nightmare to get into the car. Basically it is really bulky and getting it to fit tightly is ridiculously HARD to do. The only reason I am rating at 3 stars is because my daughter likes riding in it and out of the three boosters that I have tried, this is the best. Maybe I should have spent another hundred dollars and bought a Britax....

You get what you pay for!

We bought this car seat last Saturday at Target. We are taking it back because of several reasons. The straps are almost impossible to tighten, installing it with the latch system was a nightmare and it was poorly designed. We were moving our son (2 1/2) out of his Britax Marathon because his baby sister is going to use it now. We thought we could go cheaper on a booster type seat. Well, we were wrong. We are going to buy another Britax tomorrow. It's 3 times the price but more than worth it. The Britax seats are SO much better!! We have been so happy with it. Invest in a good seat and you will feel more comfortable that your child is in the very best!!
