These have been great seats! Own four to cover two vehicles for our twins. They install in just a minute each. Evenflo has made the latch system a breeze to use! We purchased the first two after reading about their safety rating. They were so easy to use we immediatley purchased two more for our other vehicle. Some reviews on Amazon have said that they were difficult to use. I still am puzzled by this! The seats may not be as padded as some, but I believe that it is sufficient. These children are are third and fourth, and I know that we have gone through at least five different car seats for this size children, and these are by far the easiest to use!

This car seat is a must have.

You can't go wrong with this car seat. We have one of these for each of our two boys and they are all around perfect. The latch system and the 5-point harness make it safe and secure. The cover detaches easily and you can throw it in the washer without having to worry about it coming apart. Not only is it durable and functional but it's cheaper than most of the "trendy" car seats. Consumer Reports magazine gave it top marks!

The Evenflo Titan 5 was reccomended to me because of it's superior safety rating from Consumer Reports and incredable value through Amazon.com. I bought one and found it easy to use (adjusting strap length, transfering between cars etc.) and so I bought a second one for Grandma's car. I would definately pass on the reccomendation to anyone.

This is a great car seat for a great price. It meets the safety standards and is really easy to use. The straps adjust easily and quickly and I can buckly my daughter into it without a struggle.

I purchased this car seat for my 2yo to use in my father's car. We have Britax car seats at home. I was truly surprised at what a piece of junk it was. It took two of us multiple tries to get the seat tight in the car. We never got it to less than an inch of travel along the seatbelt (as recommended for all carseat installations). Also the lower latch tether was impossible to get tight, and really hard to remove when we decided to use the regular seatbelt instead. The harness immediately started to bunch up where it runs through the buckle. And it was really hard to get the harness tight enough the shoulders. Overall I was very disappointed and surprised that it got such a good rating from CR and others.

After reading the other reviews, I decided to order this product. I like the price point along with the safety and comfort my son seems to experience. My one complaint is that the straps are a little difficult to tighten. The pull strap is in a good location but I have to pull the slack from the back (my son is rear facing still) before pulling the pull strap to tighten. I'm not sure how this will work when he's forward facing. I've heard that all of these bigger, convertible car seats are not as easy to adjust as the infant carriers.

Worst Carseat I've used

I bought this car seat for my infant son, he is a twin, we have another EvenFlow car seat for his brother. This seat is terrible. It took me forever to get the straps tight and I've had to retighten it 3 times in 4 months (I'm using the latch system). I took it to a car seat inspector to help me install it cause it was such a pain. The inspector had problems with it. We had to put the straps in a forward facing slot right at his shoulder height because the straps were too short to fit him in the upper rear facing slot. He was 7 months old at the time and 50% HT/WT. I'm currently looking at a new car seat for him and will be writing EvenFlow about the slipping lock mechanism.

Overall this is a pretty good seat, especially for the price and CR rating. (But if you're looking for the Cadillac model, this isn't it.) I bought a couple for my car to take my 23 and 10 month old girls to daycare. They wouldn't normally be in them for more than 15 minutes so I didn't think the Deluxe models with extra padding would be necessary. (Mom's car has the Deluxe models). The girls don't mind them at all so it seems to have been a good plan.

br /The only complaint I have with them is with the way the straps connect and adjust. The adjuster is up front like on other seats. Pull it to tighten the straps, lift up on a lever to release the straps. But when tightening the straps it seems to only work if you're able to pull the adjustment strap down. Pulling it straight out or up results in a lot of resistance. This can be a little difficult with the seat installed rear-facing and takes some practice and patience. With the seat front-facing it isn't a problem at all.

We got this car seat for our 2nd car. The most important is that is rated top by Consumer Reports for crash tests, etc.. The straps aren't as easy to tighten once he is in but we don't use the seat daily.

I bought this car seat to use as a rear-facing seat in our second car. My 9-month old seems comfortable and secure in it. It is not quite as easy to install as the Britax car seat we have in the other car (since it doesn't have the built-in locking clip) but is still easy enough and it only cost a third of the price. I have recommended this car seat to other parents who are looking for an affordable seat. My 3-year old also has a Titan car seat and still fits great in it.

I bought this car seat for my nephew for his first birthday. He absolutely loves the seat. My sister-in-law says it was easy to install and even move from car to car. It was such a great deal for the price. They could not be happier!

We bought this as a second seat for our other car based on its extremely high ratings on Consumer Reports. It ranked higher in safety and function than most if not all other much more expensive brands. Check the report out for yourself, but we couldnt believe the price especially given that rating! It's a great product all around. I highly recommend it.

This car seat is awesome! My 5 month old is more comfortable in this seat than he was in his carrier seat. It's soft and very secure.
