Huge basket, great cup holder and tray (for mom and baby), SMOOTH ride, works with most carseats!

After LOTS of looking for several weeks, testing some candidates in a baby specialty store, and asking for advice I settled on this. Others I eliminated included: Bugabooes, gogo babz urban advantage, fisher price 3 wheeler, combi dx, bumblerides, and peg peregos.
br /-I am amazed at the basket. I have carried packages to the post office along with my diaper bag and it all fits great AND doesn't drag.
br /-The ride is amazing! The large wheels mean it goes fine over grass, on trails, and your basic sidewalks and shopping locales. It feels like it has tires with air in them but there's no air (so you get the ride without having to pump up tires).
br /- The tray at the top has TWO large cup holders and a tray for keys and other misc. stuff. I wish the tray had a closing lid though.
br /-Fits most car seats using a basic metal frame (aluminum?) for the carseat base and a buckle for safety. The Graco Snugride has a black and red seat called Fiesta that matches great. You have to mount the metal frame so you can't switch back and forth between the stroller seat and a carseat quickly.
br /-The handle has nice padding and feels super sturdy (I think the height adjusts but it was fine as is).
br /-I haven't used the seat from the actual stroller yet but it looks really nice and comfortable. UPDATE- I have now used the seat and I LOVE IT! My daughter seems very comfortable and at 4 months I can quickly unlock the seat and 180 it the other way with her in it. People have seen me do this at the store or post office and been WOW!
br /
br /-The two downfalls are that it weighs a bit so it isn't for you if you want one of those light umbrella stroller types and it's a little wide across the two back wheels so it doesn't fit in very tiny isles like in some clothing boutiques and other tight places.
br /
br /I will also say that the one we ordered on Amazon which was shipped by Target had a small spot on the top of the seat where the seam was cut too tight and didn't get sewn down. We had a really hard time with the company about it. They sent a replacement seat which my husband spent an hour trying to mount (the first one came preassembled) and found that the screw holes didn't line up with the seat frame. They refused to send us an assmebled seat and we had to wait 6 weeks just to get the one that didn't line up. That said I called Amazon and said I was tired of trying to deal with Kolcraft and they sent a new replacement right away. Great job Amazon!
br /UPDATE- My sister had a baby two weeks before ours and she just picked out a Jeep Liberty stroller for jogging (it says it isn't a jogger but we feel most 3 wheelers say that to cover themsleves- it works great and she isn't a serious jogger). Anyway- her's has a music on board thing to plug an MP3 player into with speakers for the baby which I wish mine had and a really nice one button fold that I am envious of. I am thinking when our daughter is older (like maybe 1.5 yr.) I may sell our carseat/stroller/bjorn carrier matched set and get her stroller.
br /
br /**** Update- have now used for 6 months and really like it. Only thing I REALLY miss is an onboard sound system for my ipod. Another user commented on it not folding and I FINALLY figured out how to do it right. If you buy this make a NOTE! After you fold the handle forward you have to lift up at the handle joint until you hear each side click and then fold forward. If you just try to go forward after the handle folds you'll be in the parking lot for 10 minutes struggling and you'll finally get it folded but you won't know what the hell you did to acomplish success (which is what I did for a while).

The stroller is rather heavy but makes for a very smooth ride. It was simple to put together but it is IMPOSSIBLE to close. I tried everything, but I nearly ended up breaking the seat and the cup holder. So don't even try. But other than that it was fun to drive around and looked more stylist and modern than it weighted. The reviews that say it is too big and heavy are comparing it to a light weight stroller. Comparing it to a combo sarseat/stroller, it is about the same.

You get what you pay for - great stroller for the price

I'm still happy with this stroller. I chose it mainly because of the cool design and that I am very happy with. Second best thing is the changing seat direction option. I like the handle although it's little high, I don't mind. I like the parent cup holders and tray - great for keeping the drink, keys and cell phone handy. I like the size of the basket (my dog does too). Steers excellent.
br /
br /BUT:
br /- it's quite heavy and not so easy to fold and fit in Honda trunk
br /- doesn't have much suspension so riding on the grass is quite bumpy (although this might be a plus because my baby falls asleep after only few seconds of riding on the grass)
br /- quite small, I hope I will not have to buy another stroller few months down the road (my baby is 5 months now and doesn't have much clearance from the top of the back/head rest)
br /- the workmanship and parts are on the cheap side but good enough

Stylish, easy to maneuver - great price!

My husband and I spent months looking at strollers, we originally wanted a 3-wheeler with an infant carrier and the only one we could find had front wheel that had a fixed position - hence it was really difficult to turn in tight spaces. We eventually decided upon the Kolcraft Contours (Mystic Blue) and bought an infant carrier from Combi that matched the color pretty well. We couldn't be more delighted with the handling of this stroller, it's well made, sturdy, very modern looking - it handles great and is so easy to use, especially good for tight turns. It's great to be able to stroll with our 3 month old in the actual stroller without the carseat as it has an infant support and it can be reclined pretty much all the way down. What's even better is that you can turn the seat around and have baby facing you. This stroller has all the features of MUCH more expensive brands for a much more affordable price. Yes, it is a little heavy compared with lighweight strollers, but I would suggest it's much more sturdy. And yes, folding it does take some practice but I would say that all the advantages of this stroller definitely outweigh these two minor issues. If you can deal with the slightly heavier weight and can get used to folding it - this is a WONDERFUL stroller to have - we're so happy we finally decided on this one. I highly recommend this one to anyone who wants a modern yet functional stroller. My husband loves it too. We're both tall and find the handle to be a very comfortable height.

Great RIDE but very WIDE! not great with the infant car seat...

We bought this stroller and thought it was very good, here are the pros and cons (and why we returned it) - PRO: looks hot! very smooth ride, one touch steering, large storage compartment underneath, parents AND kids drink/snack holder, once you practice the open and close it's easy to do, loved the choice in rear or front facing child. CON: very WIDE and doesn't fit easily through stores, you really have to practice the closing, HUGE in the trunk, it pulled BADLY to the left (that's why we returned it) and the attachment that lets you put the infant car seat (ours is Graco) in the stroller is very shaky and unstable which is why Consumer Reports gave it such a poor review. Note: If your child is past the stage of the infant car seat and you don't mind a wide ride (or have a large trunk) you will probably love this stroller - it really looks like the ones that cost hundreds of dollars! I'm sure the pulling to the left that ours did was a fluke.

Love it

I searched the internet for months to find a stroller that would fit my lifestyle and I have been quite pleased with this one. It has an amazingly smooth ride, whether hitting the mall or a bumpy road... it goes everywhere! I certainly love the car seat adapter... it was a saving grace most of the time! I've had many compliments on this stroller too! The few problems I have with it are quite minor... For example, the drink holders are no useable... your drink spills all over the place. This, however, is VERY common among many strollers. Secondly, it does take up quite a bit of room even when it is folded up, but it is very light weight. And finally, the size makes it a bit tricky to maneuver at times, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. And at such a low cost, compared to other strollers, this one is certainly worth it and I wouldn't trade it for anything else out there! I'm expecting baby number two and will upgrade to the tandem version very soon! Hope this helps and good luck on your stroller search!

My husband and I love this stroller we have it in the mystic blue. He wanted something with large wheels that wouldn't get stuck, and I wanted to have the seating options so that the baby could face both diretions. This stroller has the third option by provided the infant seat carrier, all of which are great options. This stroller is sturdy and very sporty looking. We highly recommend this product.

br /We also purchased the 2-in-1 playyard as well and love that too.

Nice looking stroller, but not for those lacking stature!! The handle is too long and there's no way to adjust it to make it a bit shorter. Also it's a bit bulcky and hard to fold. The back wheels are huge and the front wheel sticks out too far. Liked the colors, and LOVE the reversible feature, it's not a bad stroller just a bit too big for someone short like me.

Awesome stroller for the price!

I did so much research on strollers and it was important for me to just have one stroller to do everything with. I called the company before I bought it because I heard it did not fit the Graco carseats. There are very few car seats you can't use it with. The Graco seat works great in it. I wanted to start exercising as soon as I could and also use the same stroller for everyday activities and this stroller covers it all. Once you get the hang of how to "fold" it away it is a cinch and although a teeny bit heavy (not too bad) this is the best stroller. The two cup holders are key for water, coffee, baby bottle, or to safely stow away your keys and phone. I get stopped by people all the time to ask me about the stroller.

Very Well engineered Infant to toddler stroller. Easy to manuever. This is a very comfortable stroller. My baby falls asleep in this stroller without fail when put in this stroller. I have 3 different stroller and by far this is the best. Has a full reclination. You can choose to face you or forward. Easily changeable. A well worth money spent. You can even put it all the way flat to change diaper in it.

This stroller is ridiculously small. My daughter is 16 mos, 23lbs, and 31 inches tall. Her head is already above the headrest and the canopy cannot be closed because it sits so low. It's a good stroller if you only plan on using it for your baby's first year.

I would recommend this stoller for children under two. It does not sit straight up, so my son has to tilt forward to sit up straight. It is also has a very small seating. My son is not a very big 2 year old and he practically has to manover his legs to get them into the stroller. For babies that are still lying down, this stroller is perfect. It is easy to open and very manageable.

I bought this stroller after reading the reviews. It's a good, sturdy stroller that turns nicely and goes over bumps well. My husband, who is quite tall, likes this stroller better than our Graco because he can push our baby it in without bumping into the wheels or brakes.
br /It is a heavy stroller, but I don't mind that, it feels very sturdy.
br /And I love the big basket underneath. Our child is 3.5 months old.
br /Oh, and our infant carrier, also Graco, does fit into the infant carrier adapter.

My Kolcraft Contours 3-wheeler arrived yesterday and my husband put it together. OMG! All of the reviews I read about this thing were right on. The seat is so cushiony! If it would hold me, I would love riding in it. It was a little tricky to close until I re-read the instructions and remembered from the other Amazon reviews about waiting to hear the first click. I wish it folded a little more flat and it's a little heavier than I was anticipating; but other than that, I can't think of anything I would change about it. It was so easy to change the seat from front to back and to snap in the carseat adapter. I love that the canopy is full enough to actually shade my kids no matter where the sun is in the sky. My 2-year old loved riding in it and I'm sure my 12-week old will dig it too.

This stroller is a great deal!! I bought it soley off the reviews I read since I couldn't find it in a store anywhere in my area. It put together easy out of the box. It pushes with ease and you are able to turn it one handed if you are holding your little one. The selling factor for me is the fact that the seat can be turned so the baby can see you. My daughter loves that!! She is a mama's girl and has to have me in her sight at all times. Huge Life safer!!! The day I got it I took her to the mall to give it a test drive and she stayed in it the whole time!!!! yeah!! usually I am carring her. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because like the other reviewers said it is bulky and a bit awkward to get in the trunk but it fits fine. You do need to practice folding and unfolding it but once you have that down it is a breeze!! If you are on the fence get it you won't be disappointed!!

I LOVE this stroller. I was a little hesitant to buy it after reading other reviews about it's size and weight...but I bought it anyways and I love it. It is a little heavy/bulky, but I drive a Dodge Stratus and it fits in the trunk without a problem. It's so easy to push and I love that my daughter can be front or rear facing. I get compliments every time I go somewhere with this stroller, it's so stylish. This is by far, the best stroller I could find for the money. I would recommend this to anyone.

This would be the perfect stroller if only it had regular tires instead of plastic wheels! Otherwise we really love all of the other features, especially the reversible seat. It's a very comfy ride for baby--including newborns because the seat reclines way back. Overall we're quite happy with it.

The first thing I did after getting this stroller was to take it out on a test drive in a mall with my niece in it. We strapped her car seat in and the little missy was knocked out for the entire one and a half hour we were shopping. My sister was shocked!
br /The ride was super smooth, the wheels turned on a dime...we were having more trouble maneuvering the shopping cart than the stroller. The wheel base was NOT that wide, I had no trouble browsing in narrow isles even with ppl stepping around us.
br /The stroller is really not that big. I have seen travel systems that fold bigger than the Kolcraft. We keep it in the car trunk (Mazda 6 sedan) and there is always plenty of space for everything else. Of course, if you're going to pick someone up from the airport, you'd leave it behind.
br /My neighbor is also getting the same stroller after test driving ours.

I started out with a Snap-N-Go stroller, and when my baby outgrew it I was devastated. I searched high and low for a stroller that would be as easy to use and would fit in my tiny trunk. This is the only jogger that will compactly fold. It's not the easiest stroller to fold, but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. The ride is smooth and I love the handle. It's comfortable for me (I'm 5'3") and my husband (6'). And this stroller is sporty! It's priced right, looks good, has a smooth ride and the tires won't pop. What more can you ask for?
br /**When I first received the stroller the plastic on the brake/rear axel was cracked in half on one side. I called Kolcraft and they were very friendly and told me that the part I needed was on back-order so I would have to wait 2 weeks for the replacement part. My handyman dad "fixed" it so I could still use the stroller till the replacement part arrived...which was a good thing, since it took over 2 MONTHS to get the part. I still love the stroller though. People come up to me all the time asking about it. After several months of use now the only thing that I don't like is that when you lay the seat down the umbrella on top is so short it doesn't block the sun very well. Wish it was a bit longer!

I LOVE this stroller. I have had it for about two weeks and I am looking for reason to use it. I have not found anything negative about it. Once you get use to how to fold and unfold it, it is great. My 3 daughters, twins 3 1/2 and one 18 month old, all want to ride. Smooth ride, super easy to steer one handed. I love this stroller!!! I have been so excited about it and pull it out to show everyone. I can't wait until the next baby and I can really use it more. I also have a Graco double stroller. I am now thinking of selling it and getting the Kolcraft contour double stroller. The thing I love the most is the versatility of this stroller. It is easy to turn the seat around and take it off. I haven't had any problems with the weight of the stroller and I am not that strong. My other favorite feature is the sunshade, it is huge!! Great to cover a sleeping baby or adjust as necessary to block the sun. Fabulous stroller, I can not say enough wonderful things about it!!

br /-Seat faces mommy or faces outward, and easy to change
br /-Seat FULLY reclines
br /-Parent snack tray is deep, things don't easily fall out.
br /-Moves easily, very sturdy.
br /-Stylish, I get asked about my stoller all the time.
br /-Huge basket! I love it.
br /-The price, totally reasonable price for something I will only use for a few years.
br /
br /Here is what I don't love:
br /-It took a while to learn how to close it, but now I'm a pro
br /-Not very compact, but I wanted features that compact/umbrella strollers didn't have, so space is the price I pay

My 4 month old absolutely hates her car seat, so the car seat stroller combo just doesn't work for us. I tried her in just the stroller but than she gets upset because she can't see me. i reviewed lots of strollers and went and looked at a lot, I just couldn't see spending $600+ on a stroller. This answered all my needs. From the moment I first put her in it, she was all smiles. She loves being able to look at me and around. The seat is incredibly easy to switch around. It is a little bit of a pain to fold and it is heavier than my graco metrolite, but those are two tradeoffs I'm willing to make. The seat is incredibly padded and I'm a little jealous of the ride. It was extremely easy to put together and it's great to steer. If you want a light weight stroller, this isn't it, but it's great to find a stroller that had everything I wanted and needed.

I just love this stroller!! It is very easy to set up. For anyone who says it is hard to fold up, well I am not sure what they are talking about, it is super easy to fold up. The stroller glides nicely and is comfortable. I love that the seat moves forward and rear facing, and it is very easy to switch it. I have not used the car seat function yet but it seems easy enough to use.
br /The one and only down side would be that it is heavy but it is not a big deal.

I was so excited to see the stroller sitting on my doorstep, and that as far as the excitment went for me. It was easy enough to put together, but the three times I have used it the canopy and drink tray have fallen off every time. My daughter 15 months and only 19lbs, is way to tall for the stroller her head fits barely under the canpoy. To close the thing is a whole other story. I guess I have been spoiled with my one hand release Graco, if you do not push both sides down at the same time forget. ANd for me living in FL, time is important, I would rather not be standing in a parking lot in 100 degree weather trying to close this stroller. If I had a chance to touch it at a store I would have walked away. I would suggest for those new moms out there shop around before getting this stroller and most important go to a store and try them out. And if you have a friend with a baby is if they will go with you and you can try the baby out in the stroller. So this stoller is heading back to Amazon.

I really wanted a bugaboo when I was pregnant with my now 4 mth old daughter. But of course it is quite pricey. I really wanted the feature where my daughter could face me when pushing her. I came of course this stroller and thought the price was great, not to mention the customer reviews. So I said to myself from the pictures this looks like a nice stroller, and order it 2 weeks ago. We have since recieved it, and I am absolutely in love with this stroller!!. The color is great and it is super easy to put together. Huge canopy and basket. Its a little big but not a headache. If you want the look of the bugaboo and it features but for half the price. This stroller is definitely the way to go. I would highly recommend this stroller!. Good luck on your search!

This stroller is the coolest thing since sliced bread! It's very well put together and the materials and padding are really nice. It seems heavy out of the box, but once you start moving it around you realize it's about the same as any other stroller. The seat has a lot of cool options for the feet and rest postions, very very smooth ride, especially for the baby.
