The price is amazing and the product is just what you need if you have a non-stopping baby like mine. Safe belts, comfortable seat, easy to install, nice colors. Don't waste your money in 3-digit-price car seats. This seat is the real deal!

I did as much research as I could before purchasing two of these car seats for my grandson (one for my car and one for my daughter). This car seat always seemed to rank pretty well, and the price was affordable, so I bought it.
br /
br /My first impression of the car seat came when I lifted the box - it was so light! After weeks of hauling my steadily-growing big-for-his-age grandson in his infant seat, it was so nice to lift something that didn't feel like a cement brick. The straps were very easy to adjust for his comfort, and the bottom liner is going to be great for those oops.
br /
br /The seat is truly very easy to adjust, compared to others I looked at. And my grandson is very comfortable in it. It was a wonderful purchase for us, in every respect.

Great price, Great product!

First of all, kudos to Amazon for having the carseat to my house in 2 days (with the Super Saver shipping, I might add). Secondly, I spent days, DAYS, looking for a new infant-toddler convertible seat. I have an 05 Trailblazer and was desparately looking for a narrow seat I could fit between 2 Graco TurboBooster seats. It's still a tight fit but it works. This was the narrowest seat I could find on the internet. The baby body pad definitely is a must since there is very little padding in the seat cover. It will work for a little while, but during the summer I'm sure the baby will not stand for that much cushion around her legs, as it will make her hot. I'll have to figure something else out at that point. The seat looks better than I expected and is about an inch less wide than the Titan. The Titan definitely doesn't work in between the two boosters. I can't see any use for the pillow, other than for looks. I'm very happy with my entire purchase.

Needed two seats specifically to use for vacation, for flying and use in rental cars. Bought two of these. Our regular car seats would not have fit in the airplane seats and would have been WAY too heavy to lug through the airports. We shopped extensively and found very, very few seats that would have even fit in the airplane seats. These were perfect. Light weight, economical, and we found very easy to use. Installed easily and quickly in a rental Chevy HHR and a rental Jeep Liberty (two "small" SUV's). They also stacked together neatly for handling through airport (couple of bungee straps held together).

This seat seemed to go in smoothly because I had no complaint from my husband about the process of installing, and snapping my son in was a breeze for myself as well as for my husband. Grandma has the same seat and it's served her very well also.

For the money this seat is pretty good. I bought it for my niece to use on occasion in my car and it works out perfectly. It does lack padding so I wouldn't recommend it for a seat a child would use on a daily basis.

Fine carseat for the price.

I toyed with the idea of buying a more expensive car seat (as a good mom should, right?) but figured there would be little difference. This car seat is just fine. Easy to install, perfectly comfortable for the baby (she always falls asleep in it). I only wish the trim wasn't black, it gets a little hot.

This car seat was purchased for my husband's car and travel. It's light weight and my son's head does not fall forward (something that concerned me with other car seats). The extra cushion for the bottom/back and head are nice features. For the price this is a wonderful car seat. The only complaint I have is the straps are difficult to tighten. The straps on our main car seat (the graco safeseat) loosen and tighten with no difficulty. Overall I would purchase this car seat again.

This is an excellent carseat for an equally great price. We bought two of these to use in our nanny's car for our 9-month old twins. The seats don't have a ton of padding but still look very comfortable and are easy to install and use. Very happy with this purchase!

We needed a narrow car seat so that we could put three car seats side by side for our 5 year old, 3 year old, and infant. This one is nice and slim. It seems to have good cushioning. It has a pad that is supposed to function as a "spill guard" that the child sits on. However, this spill guard doesn't snap or velcro down - it basically floats free.
br /
br /The strap for the bottom buckle doesn't adjust. There is only one slot for it, unlike on other car seats. This means that as your child grows you won't be able to adjust the strap (although the shoulder straps do have several different heights).

We bought this seat to use as a backup for both our infant and toddler, or when we have a friend in our car. It is pretty easy to install. It is not the most luxurious seat, but it seems comfortable enough.

We bought the car seat for our granddaughter. It is a real bargain, very safe, functional for a good long time and attractive. The only downside was that it was a challenge to install it initially to fit our granddaughter.

Son likes it more than Eddie Bauer car seat that was 2x as much!

This is a great car seat -- I don't know why it's so cheap -- they could easily charge $100 for it. The pillow that it comes with is great. My son can also lean against the edges of the seat for support while he naps. I also like the fabric pillow insert it comes with -- great for catching crumbs dirt. Just remove and shake it out. The color scheme is also very tasteful and attractive.

I am disappointed with this car seat. I used it during my 35-lb grandson's five-day visit last week. I found:
br /* The crotch strap too short. It is only 5 inches (total from the seat pan to the upper tip of the release buckle) and there is no adjustment. It requires effort to reach between the child's thighs to insert the buckle tongues into the buckle. Because it is so short, it also causes discomfort to the crotch of my grandson. The owner's manual shows the buckle rides higher near the stomach area which would have been more comfortable.
br /* The extra seat cushion is ineffective. It is not attached to anything. The weight of the child keeps the bottom down but the side flaps tend to get tangled with the seat harness. I end up not using it.
br /
br /I bought this car seat based on other users' reviews. My experience keeps me from recommending this to others.

I did some research before buying this carseat and found that it was just as good as some carseats that cost $100 more! One of the best features is that the car seat is so light! My daughter loves her car seat, she's nine months old and a big girl, but still has plenty of room to grow. And the best feature of all is the price!!! I don't know why anyone would spend more on another car seat!
br /The only thing I would change is to add a cup holder or something to it.

This car seat has really high safety test results, which in the end is probably what we should look for in a car seat. I think it serves it's purpose, but it is definitely not fancy. It looks quite generic, and the padding is very thin. I imagine it wouldn't be too comfortable on a long car trip.

We have spent more money on the evenflow triumph and it is worthless, our baby hates that one, but loves this one (and we spent half the money on this one). It has a removable bottom liner so you can scoop out food crumbs and keep the seat fairly clean. Our baby is one year old and falls asleep comfortably in this one, we only needed a small head support (but that is with all upright seats). I reccomend this one for the price, looks, ease of use and comfort.

Doesn't Recline

I purchased this convertible car seat to replace one that reclines while rear or forward facing. The seat has a "recline" lever, but it is only one position and is required for rear-facing and must not be used for forward facing. In other words, this product doesn't recline in any position, it simply has two positions, and the rear-facing position is more reclined. The "adjustable pillow" simply has velcro on in and the velcro doesn't stick unless the pillow is in the top position, which according to the manual, shouldn't be used for the pillow.

I bought two of these carseats for my two kids ages 9 months and 28 months to keep at my mother's house for when we visit. The toddler enjoyed the seat. It was deep enough to get her in without bumping her head on the ceiling; she's tall, so that's sometimes a problem. The infant, who is tall for his age, did not like this seat at all. It did not recline at a steep enough angle, so it was like a bucket. We did the installation ourselves at the car rental place, so part of the problem was that we had not used it before. But I think it needed some padding to make it recline in the backward facing position.
br /
br /I recommend it for toddlers. It's a good price for a spare seat which makes flying to grandparents so much easier.

Definately value for money!!!

Contrary to some previous reviews I found this carseat very easy to install.
br /My 6 month old has no issues with it as he nods off at will and has a whale of a time when he's awake; so I think it's safe to say he finds it comfy, I thought it could do with a little more padding, but he seems to have no issues.
br /The only negative I've come across is that the uncovered edges on the outside of the seat have a tendency to scrape anyone sitting in the back beside the seat if their arm or any other bare part of their body rubs against it. I solved this problem with a bead of silicone along the sharp edge.

We needed a light, small car seat for airline travel. Most airlines state that carseats shouldn't be more than 16 inches wide in order to fit in the seat. We own two Britax carseats (which we love) and they are much wider than 16 inches. We decided to buy a less expense, smaller carseat for travel purposes. This seat worked out perfectly. It fit nicely in the airplane seat. And it is very light to carry around the airport. It certainly has less padding than our Britax carseats but our baby didn't seem to mind. He fit in it fine and slept most of the flight. I would recommend this carseat to anyone who needs a second or travel carseat.

I bought this so I'd have a spare carseat for my grandchild. It's very easy to fasten the baby in, and quite light and easy to install and take out of my car when I don't need it in. I had an Evenflo carseat like this for my kids 20 years ago--they are SO much more user-friendly now.

This carseat is a good value. The pad in the bottom of the seat secures my 4 month old quite well and is removable as well as the head pillow. I did have to add the infant head support for her neck but that's expected in a 4 month old. It reclines far enough that her head doesn't fall forward and it's so simple to adjust the straps. Overall very nice carseat for the money I spent.

I Bought this car seat as an extra for when I need to transport my grandson. It is a solid seat, easy to use, not heavy so it is easy to take in and out of the car, which I need. I would prefer a little bit more reclining but the few times that I use it the child is fine with it. It has a five point harness so the child is secure in the seat. It is also has the right amount of padding. I gave it just 4 points because I have the Evenflow Triumph as well although it is heavy and not a good choice of a seat to take in and out of a car, It is actually a luxurious safe seat for a child.

This is our extra carseat. The design is great- but a little bit better for a baby who is used to sitting upright. Our daughter loves this carseat, but I can see how someone else might have a problem. This is a basic model, so don't expect all the extras from other carseats.

This seat seems comfortable, and is easy install, but for us, it was basically USELESS.
br /The harness straps absolutely would not tighten once the seat was installed, rendering the seat unsafe, and absolutely useless.
br /I called Evenflo about the problem, and they sent me a new seat right away.
br /The second seat had nearly the same problem, except that the harness straps worked well until there was any weight in the seat. Then, they wouldn't budge to tighten.
br /I called Evenflo again, and they are now sending me an entirely different seat. If anyone else has this issue, they should also contact Evenflo. This is a very dangerous problem!!

I purchsed this after seeing it in store, but the store was out. I needed a new seat for my 3 y.o. son, who is about 34 lbs. On the website it said the weight limit was 80+ pounds. However once it got to my house and I looked at the instructions it said 40lbs max! Needless to say it went back into the box and was returned. I ended up going back to the store and purchasing an eddie bower convertable and have been very happy with it so far.
