Nice idea but very flimsy

This seat protector is a nice idea but the quality and endurance are disappointing. After using it for about a month the corners started folding down and the velcro bottoms never reached below the leather on the car's seat. My 15 month old daughter can kick them until they end up in her lap. In order to get the velcro to reach the seat bottom we had to tie the tops with the least amount of tie. This makes the tops floppy and the velcro never stuck for long anyway. The blue trim comes apart from the plastic and makes the whole thing look very shabby. I threw them away after about two months of use. They may be cheap but they aren't worth it.
bad investment

I purchased these seat back protectors for my suburban that has leather seats. I have a 3 year old and a 10 month old and the 3 year old is constantly putting her feet on the seat. The ties on the protector don;t line up with the head rest which makes it bunch up at the top and I didn't put the velcro adhesives on the bottom of my leather seats because they are too expensive. The protector just hangs on the back on m seat. I have recently thrown the protectors away. I would suggest investing in a good cleaning agent instead of buying this protector.

i agree with some of these reviews about the velcro down the bottom. it will not stick and stay on my VW Jetta cloth seats. tried everything but just eneded up throwing them away. GO TO ONESTEPAHEAD.COM. they have the new ones that tie around your car seat. MUCH BETTER!

I purchased a set of these for my new VW Jetta with cloth seats - the velcro does not stay at all - and the ties didnt line up with my headreasts - so they were VERY UNUSEFUL to me - I ended up throwing them away.

I just received these a few days ago and already have thrown them away. What a waste of $$$$! The sticky on the velcro will not stick to cloth seats, leaving the bottom just hanging there! It is cold here and the first time these got cold, they shrivel up and pop out in the middle so your child's feet will now be on the seat one on each side of this plastic thing. Junk junk... I ordered the ones another reviewer recommended. Hopefully, they will be better!

I originally bought these for my VW Passat with cloth seats. They worked ok in it but I now own a Volvo V70 R with leather seats. They velcro does not stay affixed to the seat so they are useless. I'm going to either have to live with the footprints from my children or find a way to rig it up by tying it to something under the seat.

i purchased these for my suburban. i have a 2 and a 3 year old. other than the fact that the ties for the headrest were a little off from mine (no big deal) these are great and do just what they are supposed to. i have cloth seats and the velcro that is on the plastic did cling right to the seat back fabric. these have definately saved the back of my seats. i have now purchased them for both of our vehicles.
Not a good product for the Arizona heat

This product might workout for other states but I live in Phoenix Arizona and thought this would be a great idea for scuff marks not!! The adhesive part to stick to your back of the seat because of the heat kept the back from staying on to the seat. So now there is no adhesive left and they just hang on the car and pretty much are worthless not a good investment for the Valley of Sun.

I was so excited to get this as i have recently bought a new honda civic and have a 2 year old. first, the ties don't line up well with my headrests, but i can live with that. the main problem is how it says it velcros to the bottom of the seat. sure it velcros, but to itself, you have to sticker half the velro to your seat. now, i just got it today, mind you, and i am already unhappy. it IS hot outside, but 30 minutes after i put it in the car, it has already become unstuck and won't stay. now, how useful is that? i'm sure the velcro works, but when you have to attach it like that and it doesn't stay, it's worthless. i am going to have to find a way to rig it to stay in place because there is nothing else out there like this.

these work out really well in our car. It keeps those dirty shoes off of the seats. The only problem I found with it was the velcro wouldn't always stay on...but other than that it does the job well. Not bad for $..! I would still recommend it to anyone who has kids that sit in the back seat.

Very easy to install and you hardly know that they are there. They cover the entire area and they are keeping our seats clean! No complaints. The kids even like them becuase when their feet are wet and they rub their shoes on them it squeeks. What could be more fun for a 2 year old in the car?
Great Product- I disagree with the negative comments.

I had these seat protectors for over 4 years, the velcro always held and the ties worked much better than all the other types of protectors that have buckles. Eventually the ties did break off but only after years of use, not bad for such a small investment. I then bought replacement protectors from Target with buckles at the head rest and seat, I never liked those and will be replacing them with this set. I had to search all over to find this set again. The buckle kind never tightened down enough at the headrest to prevent the protector from sagging down low and I hated having another tie/buckle around the bottom of the seat that I had to sit on.

br /I would highly recommend these over any of the buckle type protectors.

These covers are great at keeping little feet from destroying your car seats. The velcro has stayed in place so far but I haven't had them during the Texas summer months yet so that may change. I definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to keep their car looking new. Great buy for the money!

I am surprised to read all of the negative reviews. But when I look deeper - I see the 1 (4 now) we received is different.

br /I have a pair of nylon straps at the top and bottom each with a simple buckle attachment that makes putting it in easy. The grade of plastic is a little low - but what do you expect for $8.95?
br /
br /All in all - we love ours. I have two on the front seats of my Yukon and another two on the front seats of my Silverado. I have a 4yr old and 5yr old and my leather seats are very safe from their routine kicking and stretching.
br /
br /As long as you get the buckles - I would say this is a no brainer and worth every penny!!

I thought these protectors had the ties, but they have buckles. They buckle fine around my car seats, but the straps stick out where you sit down - basically you have to sit on the strap (not the buckle- just the strap) because it does not stay hidden if you squash it down into the seat. They are doing okay so far, but my old ones that had ties for the headrest and velcro at the bottom, held in place a bit better- they did not curl up on the sides. Though it has not yet, it appears that these may curl up.
"Seat Back Protector" does just that-- it's inexpensive

Installs easily and takes the pressure off Jr. to keep his muddy paws off the leather. I forget what I paid but it wasn't much.

i got these for my toddler and i'm not that impressed with them. i wish i had read the reviews first, but it was an impulse buy at the store. i have cloth seats and the velcro stuck for a few weeks and is now worthless. it is not a huge problem though, because my son knows that he is not allowed to put his feet under the plastic. but he is still 2 and doesn't always obey. i'm thinking of attaching my own string on the bottom to go around the seat. we'll see how that works out. there are better ones out there that i've seen since my purchase.
