I loved the idea that this car seat was. Then after I bought it I have had problems with it. The handle realse has broken many times. Then the gray handle part has came apart also. This is has not been safe at all. I went to return it and Target would not return or exchange it for me. I think it was a waste of money.
No buckle inserts

I love the color and style of this car seat but I was very disappointed to see that there are no buckle inserts on each side of the carseat. That means that I HAVE to have the base to the carseat wherever I go, I can't just use the seat belt if I need to go in a different car. Bummer!!!!

I don't know what one of the reviewies was talking about.. if you read the manual, you will learn that you need to move the "leg" on the front so that the seat sits Level. That will keep your childs' head from falling forward. If that fails, go to Burlington Coat Factory and get a wedge, to prop it up more.. (to most moms I know this has been common purchase)
I think that it is a very Nice and Well built car seat.. I do agree that it would be nice to have the Seat Belt tabs so that you don't need the base.. but getting an extra base isn't a bad ideal, anyways..
Remember you should always have your Local Police Department check your seats, before your child rides in it.. this is usualy a free service.. and is often held at a local Babies R Us

The only good thing I can really say about this seat is that it comes in pink. It's hard to find carseats that are not really ugly. Otherwise I cannot take my newborn out without help because this seat does not recline far enough back and her head flops forward. I will be returning to work in a couple of weeks and will be bringing her with me (I'm a nanny) I don't know how we are going to do it and may have to purchase a new seat already. I would think that if something is deemed an "infant"' carseat it should work correctly and safely from birth not from when the baby can hold their head up.

This is a pretty good chair. Over all I'm happy with it, though I do not like the handle, my daughter is now 16pounds and it isnt easy to carry her with it. But for the most part, she likes the seat its a pretty pink, it fits well in the car and I'm 99% satisfied

I love this seat. Its light, easy to use, and its PINK. Have you looked for a girlly carseat? Its hard to find one that looks "ok" for a girl. Can't believe I found a PINK one. I hated using the seat without the base for my other kids (4). So I purchased the extra base before I even new I "needed" it.
