Some thoughtful friends sent us a Bundle Me when our son was born. When initially shopping for baby items, I hadn't thought we'd need such a thing, but it was incredibly useful. The bottom half stays in the car seat, making it warm and snuggly, and the top half zips on. We left it zipped on all the time for convenience, and just varied the degree to which we zipped our son in depending on the temperature. You can keep it zipped all the way for travel to the car, and easily unzip a bit for ventilation when riding in a warm vehicle. No need for a bulky snowsuit or blankets- just throw on a hat, and when you reach your destination, baby can be unzipped in a second and is comfortably dressed for indoor temperatures. The straps of our carseat fit through the holes perfectly. If you're concerned about this, I would head into BRS and simply ask a salesperson to demonstrate the product with your carseat. Also important- the Bundle Me washes quite well. Only downside to this product for me-and it's a minor point- is that I sometimes preferred carrying my son in a Snugli while running certain errands. When we got out of the car, I would put on the Snugli and load baby in, but then needed to wrap up with warm blankets for the walk into the building, since he was only wearing indoor clothes. Not a concern when you're bringing the carseat infant carrier inside, which was most often the case for us.
As for safety concerns, I was willing to accept the information below from the product description. And where the well-being of my child is concerned, I was comforted to know that the Bundle Me prevented his catching a chill throughout our cold New England winter.
"In line with JJ Cole's commitment to child safety, the Bundle Me has been tested to FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) 213 requirements. All tests passed on the child restraint system, indicating that the Bundle Me product appeared to have little to no effect on the performance of the child restraint system."

I had a bundle me attached to my baby's car seat and the hospital asked me not to use it. They said that the fabric does not always line up with the seatbelt holes in the car seat and that extra bulky fabric under the baby can cause the belt to have a little too much slack. They wanted the seatbelt to be snug to the baby and the baby to be snug to the carseat. They also said that the baby would most likely over-heat when this much fabric is under their little body in the car. The hospital staff reccomended the car seat cover that went on the outside of the car seat and was not under the baby's body. I was concerned after these warnings and exchanged the car seat cover for one that was on the outside/top of the seat only, not under the baby.

I have three kids and didn't have the bundle me with the first two. I thought "do I really want to spend $40 on this thing - I didn't need it with my first two!" It was well worth the money.
Anyone with more then one kid knows the second or third baby just has to go with the flow. At a moments notice you can be running out the door for a number of things. With Bundle Me you don't need a bunting outfit,a coat, a hat, or even a blanket for your baby. Just buckle your baby in - zip and go. - If the wind is blowing, raining, snowing or just too sunny - you can just pull up the flap and hold it with the handle of the car seat. Instant cover from the elements. this is a feature you don't get with the covers that wrap around the outside with a hole for the baby's face. During the in between seasons the cover zips off completly. I didn't find it too bulky or a saftey issue. You adjust the straps of your infant carrier to fit. It washes great too. I loved this item.

This product is great, except that the car seat straps get caught in the velcro of the Bundle Me slits, making it cumbersome to properly strap in my baby. To resolve the problem I removed the velcro, and now it's easy to adjust the car seat straps to secure my baby in the car seat. She enjoys the warmth of the Bundle Me, and I love how the cover can be easily removed when it's not very cold out. The car seat head support still works underneath the Bundle Me.

We received this item as a gift and found it really came in handy during the cold winter months in upstate New York. You simply arrange the Bundle Me in the car seat carrier and when it's time to go, just zip baby inside for cozy warmth. You can't beat the convenience of not having to put on a hat, coat, mittens, etc. when your infant is fussy or sleeping. Baby blankets can slip out or get kicked off, while the Bundle Me stays securely where you want it. Baby too warm or too cold? Just adjust the zipper up, down or even take the blanket cover completely off. Highly recommend.

This thing was a godsend for us! We were living in Boston when our baby was born in December. Although the best thing to do was to keep baby inside, there were times when we had to venture out. The bundle me was a great way to keep our newborn warm without having to put on layers and layers of clothing before leaving the house. We used it in our Combi Savy Soho stroller and it fit nicely and we could even keep it in when we folded up the stroller. I would say this is a must-have for anyone with a winter baby.
What a great idea!

When picking items out for our twins we came across the Bundle Me It felt so warm and cozy inside almost like a big blanket! So we reg for both a pink for our girl and blue for our son. Im so happy we did. It getting cold here in WI and sooner the snow will be flying. This is already coming in handy. Since me and my husband LOVE to walk on weekends or nights after work we have used this now a few times when its chilly. No need for blankets or jackets. And now with winter right around the corner this will come in great! We take them out everyday to their grandparents home. This will keep them warm and out of the wind. We have the Graco infant carseats, the Eddie Bauer infant carseats and their grandparents also have Graco seats. They fit so easily in all of them. And mornings when i take the babies over i just take them right out of the carseat right in the bundle me. Its just like a big fuzzy jacket, that they can use when they go out with gampa/grama. Its alot easier than trying to get 2 jackets, mittens hats, etc on 2 6 month olds. All around this is GREAT product and im so happy i have them!

I have been very pleased with the bundle me car seat cover so far. My son is just 3 weeks so I haven't used it for very long, but one of the things I like best is that you can zip off the front in case the weather is warm. I do worry as he gets a little older that he might pull the cover down over his face while I'm driving, as it doesn't seem like you would cover an infant with the entire fold.
I have a 2 year old and I used the "Nano Bag" with him and liked that Nano Bag zipped up the front and you didn't worry about your child getting lost in the cover. Also, it's waterpoof in case you are carrying the seat in the rain (this one is not).
I wish I had this with my first baby

No blankies, mittens, or booties to lose, no bulky snow-suits to put on. I just plop my baby in his car-seat and out we go! (I still put a hat on him)
You can adjust the warmth by adjusting the zippers; we started using BundleMe already in September for our newborn. If it's too warm it takes only a second to take the upper cover off. I leave the bottom part in the car seat all the time; it just makes it so snuggly.
This product washes great too, which is important since we use it every day. Bottom line: It's worth the money!

My son was born in November and I found that the snowsuit I purchased was just too big and bulky, and it was the smallest size, so I bought a Bundle Me and it is great. All that you have to do is put the baby in the car seat and zip them up and they are good to go. It also works great with the stroller. I would recommend this product to anyone who is going to be having a baby in cold months it will come in handy.

This was one of the best things that we bought for our son. He loves it and it keeps him nice and warm in the cold nh winters! He loves it so much that we use the top as a blanket when he naps, its also very handy when you are out and need a blanket! This makes our life alot easier. We dont have to fight with our son to get him in his carseat. We only wish that we had one with our first child. The only thing that we dislike is that it took a few washes to get the fuzz off, there was this fuzz that kept coming off on our son. At first we didnt like that but after a few washes its all better. Definatly worth every penny! And come spring we will get the lite bundle me!

We bought this in anticipation of our Christmas baby. It was a pretty normal Cincinnati winter, but our poor little Emma was so hot in this thing, that every time we would put her in her carseat with it in, she would scream bloody murder. Even taking the cover off and just leaving the back on didn't help, once we drove 25 minutes to the mall and by the time we got there, not only were my husband and I nearly deaf from listening to her scream, her back so so wet from sweat that we had to change her entire outfit. We returned the Bundle Me the next day. I suppose if you live in like Alaska or somewhere where it is REALLY cold ALL the time, or if you only use your carseat to take the baby outside in the stroller, than this is a fine product, but living in a relatively cold winter climate and using this as it was meant to be used (leaving it in the seat and just uncovering the baby once in the car) we had virtually no luck with it. I think that it is a wonderful concept, which is why I give it 3 stars, but, overall, my personal experience with it was only a 1 star experience, if that.
Trouble with car seat straps

When I first purchased this item, my child was still small enough that the car seat straps were threaded through the lowest holes in the car seat. The "bundle me" uses velcro to fit around the car seat straps and this would prevent the straps from tightening properly! I took it out of the car seat for safety reasons. Now that my child is older and the straps are threaded through the top holes, there is no problem, because the straps can thread into the "bundle me" above the velcro. Beware! This could be a serious safety issue.

This product is in my top 5 things to have if you're having a winter baby and you live in the midwest. Perfect for outings, and taking naps in too! I believe it is safe in a car seat, as most parents are not putting on a coat in addition to the Bundle Me, so it is just one layer between the baby and the back of the car seat. Ask about it at your local car seat safety checks if you need more reassurance. A great gift.

when we put our baby in his infant carrier to leave the hospital, we had the bundle me in place as it was January. They would not let us leave the hospital with the bundle me because they said it was unsafe as it could compress in an accident, making the straps effectively looser on the baby. They recommended putting blankets on top of the baby. Save your money--plain old blankets work just fine and then can be used at whatever location you are taking your baby to. We kept ours for the stroller and find that useful, but it is so bulky up top that it seems to be always either in his face, or folded down in such a way that it looks like his chest will get cold.

I was initially excited to get this product at my shower. It seems perfect and the reviews are great. However, the hospital would not let us leave with it installed in our infant carseat. They said that it makes the carseat unsafe because it slides around too much. It is the hospital's policy to warn against Bundle Me's and similar products, so I returned mine. I suppose you could still use it on the stroller, but since I use the carseat that snaps onto the stroller, I would only be able to use the Bundle Me next winter and then only for a few months. For me, this product did not make sense.

Great product, it is really warm and is good when travelling from the car to the store in really cold weather. The only thing I don't like about it is that when we are in the car, I cannot open the shade screen on the car seat because of the way the bundle me bands stop the shade. Otherwise, it was definitely a good purchase!

I own the Original Bundle me and bought the new Urban bundle me for my cousin's baby. The Original Bundle Me seems to be warmer with the faux sheepskin on the inside instead of the micro-fleece on the inside of the Urban version. The faux sheepskin seems to be cozier for baby, too. When it is super cold outside, you have to add your own blankets inside either bundleme, but having the bundle me definitely helps keep the blankets where you put them.
One aspect of the Urban version that I liked better is that the nylon exterior of the Urban picks up less "debris" than the fleece exterior of the Original. The fleece seems to attract hair, dirt, etc. The nylon Urban is also rain/water resistant. The Original fleece one never seemed to get wet even though it doesn't make the claim that it is water resistant.
Another point to make is that I bought the Bundle Me Lite for the spring and fall months, but didn't really use it all that much. Unless you live in an area where the spring and fall months are cool for an extended period of time, I would just stick with the Original or Urban version. Here I guess the weather goes straight from Summer to Winter!
The whole line of BundleMe products is an AMAZING god-send if you have ever had to put a baby into a coat or snowsuit and then tried to put the car seat straps around them. I can't tell you which one will suit your needs more, just trying to help make your selection process more successful!! Whichever one you choose will definitely make your life SOOO much easier!

I received a Bundleme at my babyshower for my little one. Winters in Colorado can be so cold especially in the morning and at night. Bundleme has been an awesome addition to my infant car seat. It works as a sleeping bag that fits directly into the car seat with holes for any kind of car seat straps. With two convenient zippers I am able to get to the baby with out waking her. I don't have to use a coat because she stays plenty warm in her bundleme and so I also don't have to adjust her carseat straps for bulky clothes.
I now give Bundleme's to all my friends at their baby showers. Since Bundleme comes in so many colors I am able to give accordingly to style preference and color...none of us match!
And I can just throw the bundle me in the wash when it gets dirty or has just been a while. It washes up well and dries fast.

My daughter is now 5 months old and she hates nothing more than getting bundled up for the cold weather, so this thing has been a lifesaver! Unzips with ease and the front will zip right off if it's too warm out for it. It folds down nicely when she's in her seat. I use the extra length to shield her from snow, rain, wind, etc. when I get her out of the car. It's great. One of my best investments. Also, when she was smaller her head would fall to the side when she slept in the car seat - this gives her head some cushion and she isn't as uncomfortable. I love it!

I think the bundleme is the best invention. Your baby doesn't need jackets and it helps to not let him get overheated. Not to mention, easier on me too. I also bought the "lite" version, which is a thinner version of this one. Perfect for the months before winter. I like the bundleme more than the kiddapottamus ones because it goes under them and keeps them warmer than just going over the top of the carrier. Also, those covers with the hole for the head seems too restrictive. The baby can use his hands still with the bundleme.

This product would be perfect if it had a snug-fitting hood. I use the bundle-me when I'm running from the car to a store and back again. I really wish that this could be redesigned to prevent the cold air from streaming in by the neck, while at the same time baby is starting to sweat by the feet.

We purchaced our second Infant size BundleMe because our first one, lent to a friend and was thought to be returned, somehow never showed up again! We received one for a gift for our first son. We loved it and used it for the whole winter in his infant carrier and when he out grew that carrier, we used it in his Convertible seat. The second one purchased for our second son was wonderful for our second son's infant carrier because he couldn't kick it off and we didn't have to add bulky clothes under his seat straps. But when we moved him to his rear-facing convertible seat, the BundleMe didn't allow the straps to move as they tightened and loosened. The velcro holes twisted the straps so we've quit using it for now. We loved it for the infant seat though.

I really love this product! We live in Wisconsin where it can get VERY cold so I needed something to keep my baby warm. I didn't want to hassle with blankets so I bought this item to see how it worked. It keeps my baby nice and warm when we take her to the car and while the car is still warming up. It seems to keep her just the right temperature. I haven't had any problems with her getting too warm in it. I don't use anykind of snow suit or heavy jacket. The reason I gave it four stars is because I have to use a light sweater because she likes to push the top off of her arms so I worry about her arms getting cold. Even though it zips up at the sides it can fold down enough to expose arms and chest. I really have to watch her to make sure she hasn't pushed the top part down. It's not really a big problem and it isn't enough to make me dislike the product. Over all I really like the bundleme and I would buy it for friends having babies around here. It is easily installed into the car seat. You don't have to undo any of the straps to get it in. You just pull the straps through the opening, put the elastic band around the top of the seat and you are good to go.

Pros: Very warm for a mid-Atlantic winter, stays in place on a stroller decently well, zips on both sides.
br /Cons: Only zips up to mid-chest on an 8 month old and so a coat and mittens are still needed, would get the toddler size if I had to do it again because my very small 8 month old is almost growing out of the infant size.

We purchased 2 "Bundle Me" products but when the box arrived in the mail, they had sent only one product. I contacted Amazon and they were apologetic and without asking any additional questions they sent me the 2nd product. However, this required us to wait an additional week for the product to arrive in the mail. I thought that Amazon should have at least made good on their mistake by sending the 2nd product via an express shipping method, but they did not. As for the Bundle Me product iteself, our twins enjoy it and it helps keep them nice and warm as we enter the colder weather.

This is a great product to use in cold windy weather. Keeps my baby really warm when we take him to the park even on a windy day. The only complain I have is that I wish the zipper can go a bit higher. Right now it stops at my son's chest level and doesn't protect his neck and upper chest area very well on a especially cold day.

Let me just say that my husband and I really, really like this product a lot. We have four kids and we just bought it for our fourth child. With the other kids we always just used blankets piled on top of the carseat to keep them warm. Our last two kids were born at the end of the summer, so I could not have another tiny baby subjected to freezing cold weather while he's still so small. We live in New England where the winters really do get very cold. So, we bought this and have been so happy. It keeps the baby nice and warm without having him overheat in the car once you get the heat going. I like that it has zippers on both sides that can let this open easily so that the baby can get a little breather until it's time to go back outside and bundle back up again. I also like that because of the way this is designed the material stays out of the baby's face so I never have to worry about this covering the baby's nose and mouth while I am driving. The only thing that made me give this four stars is this: I have only washed this two times. I think that only washing it two times all winter is great considering all of the baby messes that this has stood up too. It always looks nice and really does not appear dirty. But the second time I washed it the zipper pull fell off and fell into my dryer's lint screen. I followed the directions and machine washed it and dried it in the dryer on the tumble dry "low" setting. I was really disappointed to see this happen so easily. So I felt that this should have held up better since it is made for babies and does have a lot of potential to become dirty and need to be washed frequently enough. Little tip- I would let this air dry instead of putting it in the dryer, even though the directions say you can put it in the dryer. Since I bought this in October, I don't think that Amazon will accept a return. I called JJ Cole but all of their reps were busy and I did not leave a message. I will be calling them again and hope that they will stand by their product. I will update when I speak with them. Edited to update and add: **I called customer service and they were really great. They said that they guarantee all of the parts on this for 2 years from the date of purchase. They said to send it back and I could choose any style or color for my replacement. If there is a difference in price (if I were to choose a pricier option) I would just have to pay the difference. I am so pleased with customer service - they really stand behind their products.**

I really like the convenience of the Bundleme. It's great to not have to stick your baby in a super huge snowsuit in the Michigan winters, especially when we drive everywhere and spend only 5 minutes walking from car to store, or car to house. I would (and do) put my daughter in her snowsuit while she's in her stroller, and use the Bundleme only for the car seat. I have a SafeRide car seat for her, and the Bundleme's elastic is stretched to the max, but it still does the job. I would buy it again.

I received the infant bundleme as a gift from my registry. My baby was born in April so we didn't use it a whole lot until the fall. One of the zippers broke after three months of use and we received a replacement from J.J. Cole. (Customer service was great.) This is a great product. It never occured to me to use this without a coat so we've always used a coat and hat but it is very warm and I would recommend it to anyone. I'm on Amazon now looking to purchase the toddler size.

It is Ok, but not as warm and cozy in a cold winter day. I still had to put a jacket on the baby. But since we don't use car seat that often I use it to wrap up the baby in my pram carriage with the snow suite under. At this point I am assured that my baby is warm and cozy.

This is just a great thing to have when you live in a very cold area (Breckenridge, CO). You do need a winter jacket, but it's still easier than wrestling a snow suit on and bundling it up w/ a blanket. I just use a winter jacket and slip my baby into the carseat w/ the bundle me. So easy! He stays warm and I am happy.
Living up in the mountains, I haven't had any problems when it rains. When it does, I just put it in a dryer. If it gets dirty, I just throw it in the washer. I usually just wash the top part. If I need to wash the whole thing, it's easy to take off and put back on.
I have just order the bundle me toddler version and hope that it will work as well as when my baby was an infant!
Best baby buy ever!

This was by far the best thing I received for my son. He was born right before Christmas in NYC, where winters can be pretty cold. All I needed was a I hat on him and he was good to go!

The Original Bundle Me has made traveling with our baby in the winter months much more convenient. Rather than having to throw on her little snowsuit and a blanket, we can slip our little girl into the Bundle Me. It fits nicely into our car seat. We also use the Bundle Me in her stroller. We received the Bundle Me as a gift and like it so much that we bought one as a gift for our friend's baby.
As for the safety concerns, I was satisfied with the manufacturer's statement:
"In line with JJ Cole's commitment to child safety, the Bundle Me has been tested to FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) 213 requirements. All tests passed on the child restraint system, indicating that the Bundle Me product appeared to have little to no effect on the performance of the child restraint system."

I can't say enough great things about this product. My baby was born in December and I used the bundle me until the spring. I didn't have to waste time putting a snowsuit on the baby-I just put him in his carseat and zipped up the sides. It kept him very warm and he looked good too! I would recommend this to anyone having a winter baby!

I looked hard and long for a cover which could be used with our car seat. Most of them had hole for the head, yet if you had a small baby, the head hole didn't line up with the head. Many of them also only went OVER the baby seat and this one also provided a comfortable fleece bottom. It was easy to use, fit all of our car seats, and was warm. We never had to bundle the baby with anything else, other than a light blanket tucked under the cover on really cold Michigan winter days. It sure made traveling easier!
Best Investment We Made!!

I agree with the reviewer that said this item is among the top 10 you need for a new baby. We are constantly on the go with our son, and this has made our traveling so much easier. No need to struggle getting little legs & arms into a snowsuit, just pop him in the seat, strap him in and go! The price is very reasonable, when you consider what you would pay for a comparable snowsuit and will take longer for your baby to outgrow. We put our sons' infant head support on the inside of the Bundle Me, which seemed to work a lot better than leaving it under the cover. Bundle Me fits snuggly on the carseat, yet is easy to remove when you need to and washes well. I've found it works especially well when moving baby from carseat to stroller, too. My son falls asleep on the shortest car ride, and with this I can just pick him up without hardly having to disturb him and put him in the stroller - he barely budges! I'll definitely be buying the Big Bundle Me and probably the Bundle Me Lite for the upcoming Spring.

Your baby will be in the infant carseat until approximately 10 months of age, more or less depending on the size of your baby. So if you live in a place that has a cold winter, you will love this item! If he or she is born in winter, have it ready from day one. I consider Bundle Me a "must-have luxury". The pouch fits into the carseat and the carseat straps are pulled through slits in the bottom layer. You only have to do this once. Unzip the top then put your baby in and zip it up, and he or she will ride in fleecy snuggly comfort throughout the winter. This saves you hours of struggling to dress an infant who has other plans in snow suit and mittens. He'll still need a hat. Strictly speaking, the car seat inspectors will suggest that it is less safe to put a layer between the baby and carseat, because the cushion creates a tiny bit more travel distance for the baby's neck and spine during an accident. However, I feel that if the baby is wearing several layers topped by a puffy coat or snow suit, the cushioning layer would be much thicker thus less safe. It is always important to make sure the straps are adjusted snugly against the baby and checked frequently for correct fit. Highly recommended.

We received one of these as a shower gift and absolutely love it! It keeps the baby warm, and the hood helps to block out wind and light. This is a must have for anyone who has a cold winter... we live in the south, but winters are pretty cold, and I would not be without this cover. Its easy to put on and machine washable, soft and snuggly. Highly recommend.

I love the Bundle Me! Here in the UP of MI our winters are cold and very snowy... blankets dont cut it and it's not safe to wear snowsuits in carseats. My baby is 7 weeks old and he loves how warm he is, I just unzip the top when we're in the store so he doesn't over heat. The only problem I had was fitting it into my carseat, but I'm not overly fond of my carseat. It's a BabyTrend. I had to rethread the straps through the carseat to make it fit, which was slightly difficult, and had to cut a new hole for the buckle at the bottom, otherwise there was material bunched up under his butt. I do recommend these, especially if you live where it's cold. Also, this was one of the cheapest places I found them.

I love this Bundle Me. It's so soft and keeps my baby warm, plus covers his face when I need to carry him into a building from the car. It washes well and has a great fit in my Peg Perego infant seat. Great product and great quality. These resell in our local resale shops for 50% of the original price. Plus, you can still use it once they've outgrown the infant car seat by using it in your stroller.

LOVED this product. My daughter was born in January (in Nebraska...very cold). She stayed nice and warm and I was able to wash it anytime and it came out great (even in the dryer). I used it on our Graco Sungride car seat but it will also work great on her bigger rear facing one this winter. It was also great that I didnt have to bundle her up as much, just in her clothes and a hat. Kept her plenty warm.

Love this product! It kept my little New Year's Baby warm all winter long. I loved not having to dress him in a million layers to go somewhere just to have to shed those layers indoors. No blankets to fool with either. Since our infant seat goes up to 30 lbs, I'm hoping to maybe use it again this fall (if he's not too tall!). If not, it's still in good enough shape to use it again on baby #2 ---even after some serious use. I 100% recommend this product

I was concerned about getting this bundle me blanket because I thought that it would be too hot for Southern California weather, especially living by the ocean. The great thing is you can remove the top layer when it gets too hot and easily attach it again when it gets cooler in the evenings. I love that I never need to take a thick blanket with me, although I'd reccomend taking a receiving blanket (or a thick blanket for colder climates) in the diaper bag so your baby can be warm once you get him out of the bundle me blanket.

I picked this up at the store not knowing if we would like it, but once winter hit in New England, it was absolutely perfect for our daughter!
br /We were walking outside while it was only 33 degrees and windy, but she was snug as a bug in her Bundle Me in her umbrella stroller. All she had on was jeans, socks, a long sleeved shirt and a sweater, too.
br /The only thing about this particular one is that it is not perfect for wet weather. Thankfully, J.J. Cole makes one for the rain. It is just as nice and warm, but the exterior is a little different. I wouldn't say it is water resistant or repellent (since we didn't keep her out in the rain long), but it definitely works better in the rain. We have both and love them!

The BundleMe has been a great purchase for us. We are new to parenting and this product gave us the satisfaction of knowing are baby will stay warm during those colder months when we carry him out of different climate zones (the car to the house). You don't need jackets or other types of getups to keep your baby warm this product will do it all. I would recommend this to anybody with a new born, hands down one of the best products around for your new born.

This has to be one of the best purchases we've made. Why I didn't get one of these for our first baby I'll never know. I saw similar ones being used and so I looked into getting one. For the price I paid, this has to be the best one out there. It's so easy to use and my son loves it. It's so nice not having to bundle him up in one of those full body suits that he hates and limits his mobility. This keeps him nice and warm and is such a time saver. I would recommend these to everyone. Great great product!!

Anyone who has ever tried to put a baby in a snowsuit knows what a hassle it is. Until the child is old enough to actually walk in the cold weather snowsuits are a waste of time and money. This item is awesome! It fits right onto any car seat (there are slits to fit the belts through) and totally zips around the seat to keep your child toasty warm. It is well made and machine washable. My son and daughter-in-law absolutely love it. Some warm clothing and a cute little hat is all you need with this great bundleme.

It gets very cold here in the winter and my son was born in Jan. This is the coziest product, and helps us parents do a little less bundling of the baby. We have enough to do JUST to leave the house. No poofy coats, just a nice warm cacoon for you little one. I never had any problem with it and when it starts to warm up you can just remove the top portion and your good to go. I love this!

I bought several versions of the Bundle Me only to find out today that they should not be used because they go under the baby and interfere with the way the safety straps fit! I am so frustrated by this! Why are they allowed to sell products that are not safe??? We took our car seat to the Katie Cares Safety Check today and they took all of the accessories off. We had a neck support cozy on the seat as well that they said was also unsafe. Save your money and buy a version that goes OVER the seat and baby, not under... Kidopotomus makes one.

I bought this product for my infant and when I went to the fire station to have the seat installed (with the bundle me in it) the fireman told me that this product should not be used! He explained that it interferred with the harness and if we were in a crash the baby could come flying out or have serious injuries!! I wouldn't recommend it but I would recommend the shower-cap style covers that don't go behind the baby but just over the outside of the infant seat.

Edited to add ~ I came across one of these (they're actually made in my state ~ I put it (Bundle Me Big) in my daughter's Britax seat and I didn't like how it pinched the shoulder harness and pulled them out wider than they should be. So I cut out a section of the back so there's nothing behind her back and we're good to go ~ I'll try posting a foto of what I did)
I'd give this item 0 stars if I could ~ Why??? Because this item like any other puffy item (including thick coats and buntings) behind baby in a car seat would "compress" in a wreck and the harness would then be loose on baby causing possible ejection from the seat/car. Please don't use this ~ car seat covers that just go over the seat are fine.

I purchased the item from Baby Depot and it is NOT the same item. It is definitely inferior! We couldn't find the exact same item in the Baby Depot store at Burlington, so we ordered it online from them. Even though, we put JJ Cole in our search box and the picture looks the same, we were confused that there was no choice of colors and they called it "Bundle Baby". We ordered it anyway, since the picture was navy. When it arrived it was the same product we had seen in the Baby Depot store, and was called "Bundle Baby" which is not the same as the original Bundle Me. It is NOT THE SAME quality as the original. Interestingly though, the receipt does say "JJ Cole Baby Bundle", although I can't find anywhere on the packaging who manufactures this product. In any case, I am returning it and purchasing the original product, which is now costing more, since I am out the $5.00 shipping fee for the inferior product.
